The Billy Meier UFO contacts singularly authentic ongoing for 80 years the key to our future survival

ASU Astronomy Club Retracts Offer to Show UFO Film

While I was in the midst of my correspondence with Ms. Kravetz at ASU, I contacted the astronomy club there:

Hi Astrodevils,

My name is Michael Horn and I invite you to see the trailer for my new film, And Did They Listen?, about the Billy Meier contacts in Switzerland, the only scientifically proven, still ongoing UFO contact case…now spanning 70 years.

I am hoping to be able to screen my film for your club…and answer any and all questions and challenges you may have. Released on January 21, the film has already been picked up for US TV this spring (along with two of my other films on the Meier case).

Please contact me at your earliest convenience and let’s discuss making this information available to your club.

Sincerely,

Michael Horn

The director of the club, TJ Slezak, was kind enough to respond:

Michael,

We are open to entertaining a screening of your film, however the club operates on a limited budget so we are unable to compensate financially for any service or premium charges that may be associated with your service. We would love to host you and your film, and are able to accommodate accordingly with the facilities available to us.

Thanks

…and I accepted his invitation:

TJ,

Thank you very much for your invitation. I am more than glad to present my film just for the love of doing so.

Please let me know some possible dates and times, number of members in the club, if you may be able to get some faculty to attend, etc. I’ll be coming down from Flagstaff.

And please see my new blog:

Surprise, Surprise! Billy Meier UFO Case on Hulu…Who Knew?

Again, thanks for your invitation nad your openness.

Best,

MH

After not hearing back from him I ask for an update and he responded:

Michael,

I duly apologize for not getting back to you at a more immediate pace. As club president I initially jumped at your offer as I am well versed in the topic and the subject is something that has always held my interest.

After consulting with my fellow officers and keeping in mind our organization’s goals as well as the club’s representation of university and departmental vision, I must decline your offer. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate the screening as it falls outside the scope of topics relevant to immediate club interests of astronomy.

If you plan to host a screening at another location within proximal distance, I would be happy to pass the opportunity onto our members to allow them to attend on their own behalf.

Thanks,

-TJ

TJ,

Thanks for getting back to me. It’s kind of you to explain the situation.

It’s apparently the policy of the school to prevent such things from being made available to the student body, not just the astronomy department or clubs. You can read more here.

Quite honestly, you may be at a disadvantage because of the kind of effective censorship that appears to be school policy. My generation didn’t suffer from nearly so much of it, as I recall.

And as an astronomy student, I’m sure you are familiar with the classic story of how Galileo tried to get the Church to just…look through the telescope.

Your club members would have had a first hand opportunity together to rigorously consider if this man, his evidence and information are true and authentic. After all, this is either some colossal, impenetrable hoax…or the most important story in not only scientific but human history. I would think that if there wasn’t a prejudicial mindset, finding out the truth would trump every other consideration.

Of course you can see the film any time you want, though I’m not trying to sell it to you. It will also be on TV this spring.

As you’ll see, I blog about my experiences and I’ll probably include our exchanges in a blog and let them speak for themselves. Anyone who’s interested can of course also come to my by presentation in Tucson.

Thanks again,

MH

Congratulations, Michael, on publishing the dialog on screening your film at ASU. I attended 5 events including 2 film screenings in the recent 10 days (before spring break). I hope I can get your screening done. Your long time admirer and supporter.
