The Billy Meier UFO contacts singularly authentic ongoing for 80 years the key to our future survival

Three Magic Words

“I love you.”

Nice but no, those aren’t the ones I mean. The ones I’m referring to should be mandatory on the first day of every science (and other) class, at every grade level. Of course they should be required to be learned and frequently practiced by every skeptic, as well as all other religious people.

Those words are, “I don’t know.”

We shouldn’t be afraid to utter those words. The reluctance to do so is often based on self-overestimation, from which many people suffer in regards to subjects about which they are ignorant,  or simply hold firm prejudices against.

They may even think that they don’t have any prejudices and that the preconceptions and beliefs they hold are based on obvious truths and certainties.

Rather than immediately investing in, and committing oneself to, hard and fast opinions in difficult and/or unknown topics of discussion, simply saying, “I don’t know” – when that is the truth of the matter – allows the mind to be open and objective, as well as logical and scientific.

Then one has no egocentric need to defend an unsubstantiated position, which becomes burdensome baggage, quite difficult to abandon, should the facts contradict it.

Let’s all practice using this information.

UPDATE: Interestingly enough, I was just sent this link, which seems to indicate that scientists may be moving in the direction indicated in Meier’s information from 1986.

funny , i was thinking about that very concept (just this morning), of being honest with oneself and others, when one truly does not know something

couldn’t agree more – should be taught in school

Daniel

Unfortunately school won’t touch it because in school you are slammed for not knowing something. And in school, co-operation is called cheating. They make it into a solo game. Turns it into a competition to see who’s the “smartest” (who’s memorized the most names, dates and crap). Completely avoids conceptual knowledge. Only sticks to concretes. And the solo aspect of it makes it so that the search for truth becomes secondary if anything. It’s all just an ego trip. If you want to learn real life skills then you must avoid school like the plague. Learn privately. Much better off that way and you actually learn the things you want to learn for real reasons. Sadly people are convinced they can’t live without paper that prove squat in the real world. Without real life skills, you’re a slave to your job or to government or whoever else. It’s like not knowing how to drive. Always have to depend on someone else to take care of business for you. It’s a big part of why our world is so far gone to hell. Step away and learn to think for yourself. Quit just trying to work for a smiley sticker and start working for real life skills instead. When the world collapses, those skills will be all that’s left. Better hope you have made the most of your precious time learning the important skills. People skills, money skills, creative thinking, team skills, all of which is barely even touched on in school.

I appreciate your comment, Daniel. I’ve noticed no other direct reply to your words. Are you still current with this blog?

Jacqui Purtell

” I don’t know ” is healthy ” that is impossible ” is defeatist , lazy and in some situations downright cowardly and often a cover up for the truth which is , I don’t know .

Jun Sarmiento

knowledge is not everything, wisdom is.

Alive

“I don’t know” came from “I do not know”. So it consists of four words. Whether it is magical or not, I really do not know.

Jon

I saw your comics, lol, so silly, seriously who is falling for this stuff. Merlin …good luck with your fairy tales…lol

Rusty

I think I love you is far far better than what you are suggesting, IDK leaves the mind open to the demonic, just my thoughts, but do know I love all,

Alive

Rusty’s suggestion seems too rusty to me, and please remember, Rusty, Brian May has said “too much love will kill you.”

Jacqui Purtell

” I don’t know ” , is really in relation to a question of intellectual honesty and you cannot have wisdom without first obtaining knowledge ; wisdom does not come from wishful thinking it comes from hard work in the first place by the gaining of the knowledge , and that the knowledge gained is in accordance with the truth .

Jacqui Purtell

” The getting of wisdom ” or more to the point , the failure to obtain wisdom . I feel this is to be nothing but a certainty if the student was to fill their head with nonsense and the longer they continue to do this then the longer they will be in deficit of any wisdom . As an example , to spend a lifetime studying religion would be , as far as I’m concerned , lead to a definite wast of that lifetime . But as they say ; you have free will ; your choice .
