The Billy Meier UFO contacts โ€” singularly authentic โ€” ongoing for 80 years โ€” the key to our future survival

The Universe Has no Place in the University

Or: The perversity of diversity instead of healthy controversy

I recently contacted Arizona State University regarding screening my new film, And Did They Listen? for the students and faculty alike. I was referred, and submitted my film, to Ms. Beatriz Kravetz, a lovely woman who is apparently in charge of such things. Quite honestly, in our brief telephone conversation she came across as an intelligent, sincere and engaging person. So my comments and purpose for posting this exchange are directed at her expressed position, not at her as a person.

I think the email exchange* will tell enough of the whole story, although I have more comments.

In this, oh so politically correct world, where every precious little bit of โ€œdiversityโ€ โ€“ which simply means โ€œvarietyโ€ – is worshipfully promoted, without regard for any inherent qualitative value, almost anything that deviates from the norm that has enough vocal proponents can gain a place of unearned prominence, credibility or respectability through sheer force of numbers.

Iโ€™m not singling out any particular group or element and of course there are things that may come under the heading of diversity that may well have worthwhile qualities integral to them. If only that was what was being focused on instead of all of the mindless conformity, much of it perhaps stemming from liberal guilt and other examples of institutionalized spinelessness.

But I digress. Anyone who knows anything about the Billy Meier UFO contacts knows that it is the most well documented, analyzed, authenticated and profound body of evidence and information that establishes a credible foundation for Meierโ€™s claims of 70+ years of ongoing extraterrestrial contacts. (This alone demolishes the often-unquestioned claims of โ€œhoaxโ€, etc.)

(NOTE: The Billy Meier UFO contact case has nothing to do, and isnโ€™t to be confused, with the plethora of absolute garbage and delusional disinformation from the lights-in-the-sky chasing โ€œUFO industryโ€ about โ€œalien abductionsโ€, โ€œsix-inch aliensโ€, โ€œextraterrestrial presence on Earthโ€, โ€œhybrid alien babiesโ€, etc.)

So when Ms. Kravetzโ€™ first response expressed a concern that the topic was โ€œcontroversialโ€ instead of gleefully welcoming such โ€œdiversityโ€, I knew that trouble lay ahead. And I suspect that her inability to specify exactly what was so objectionable โ€“ especially in light of her admission to having taken time from her weekend to watch the film โ€“ indicated that perhaps the film so threatened her belief system that it overrode her presumed standards of academic and intellectual freedom, honesty, discovery, tolerance for โ€œdiverseโ€ opinions, etc.

When one also considers the quality of the critique by college educated, atheist/skeptic David Sharpe regarding the evidence in the Meier case, my dread about โ€œthe level of โ€˜thinkingโ€™ in colleges and universities among skepticsโ€ is more than warranted.

Many colleges and universities obviously encourage their students to โ€œget involved in politicsโ€, evidenced also by the high number of college degreed lawyers who are certainly among the main contributors to the spewing forth of the ongoing political pollution.

But try to bring a non-political, non-religious, non-trendy โ€“ but heavily documented, evidence rich body of information that is outside of the dead-end political-religious (and even scientific) paradigm and, well, look out. What makes this even more ironic is that Prof. Paul Davies, who not only teaches at ASU and prattles on extensively about โ€œaliensโ€ and โ€œE.Tโ€, instructed his media representative, Skip Derra, to respond, on November 28, 2012, to my earlier requests to present information about the Meier case, thusly:

โ€œHi Michael,

I spoke with Paul Davies about your request and he has asked me to relay his regrets. His interests and expertise do not extend into this area.

Thanks for your interest.

Skipโ€

Well mine do, sir.

Add Prof. Davies to the โ€œSpinelessโ€ columnโ€ฆalong with Prof. Boghossian. Maybe itโ€™s time to consider โ€œhome schoolingโ€ high school graduatesโ€ฆif we ever hope to produce quality thinkers anymore. If you want a wake up call, go to China where youโ€™ll find huge audiences comprised of professors, scientists, college age (and younger) people whoโ€™ll attend a credible presentation on the UFO topic and ask unapologetically probing, fact demanding questions. Perhaps they donโ€™t spend as much time as their contemporaries here on endlessly entertaining themselves…at least not until after theyโ€™ve met their daily academic/educational demands.

To elaborate on a comment a friend recently made, considering that 99.99% of reality is indeed extraterrestrial, is it really asking too much to give a fair hearing to the Meier case information? After all, it would only take one thoroughly discredited presentation to an intelligent college audience to assure that thereโ€™d be no further interest in that arena.

However, I think that the result would be quite the opposite, which is why none of the professional skeptics will host such a debate at one of their own venues. And I think itโ€™s why the protectors of the academic status quo, like Ms. Kravitz and Profs. Boghossian and Davies donโ€™t want to take the risk. After all, there are those troublesome little issues aboutโ€ฆfunding, peer pressure, pride and position, etc.

Considering whatโ€™s at stake, too bad the search for theโ€ฆtruth doesnโ€™t head the list of priorities.

*I thank Ron Watson for making meย amend the email exchange to include more of my original emails to Ms. Kravetz, which I at first thought were superfluous. But it appeared to Ron and maybe other people that I may have been harsh or confrontational with her. Perhaps it will now be clearer that I approached her in an open, hopeful way:

Hi Beatriz,

As you can see below, Wendy Hultsman suggested that you may be able to assist me with my desire to have my film screened on campus.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Michael Horn

Hi Michael,

I am sure I don’t need to explain that this is a controversial subject that would be difficult to get ASU to sponsor. Having said that, if you would like to send me a copy of your film, I would be happy to have a private screening with relevant faculty to see if there is any interest in having a public screening with a faculty member willing to put his or her name behind it.

I wish I could be more helpful, but this is the best that I can do.

Best,

Hi Beatriz,
I certainly understand, having reseearched this subject forโ€ฆ35 years. While mainstream television now is carrying all sorts of shows on “ancient aliens” and other sensationalized (and usually mythical) topics, I think you’ll find this to be quite different.
The people that I am working with here in the US include NASA personnel, scientists and military people.
Of course I’m glad to send you a review copy, please send me your best address.
Sincerely,

P.S.

Hi Beatriz,

Since I present such conclusive answers to the question posed byย Paul Daviesย the ASU community would probably be both interested and excited to have a chance to see, hearโ€ฆand challenge them.

I forgot to add that my new film, as well as my two previous ones, has already been picked up for TV, debuting this spring.

Also, just for a further reference, my daughter and I produced thisย award-winning documentary, which is used by therapists, schools, etc.

Best,

Hi Beatriz,

I hope you’ve had time to see and enjoy And Did They Listen?

It seems thatย celebrating diversityย – in terms of thoughts, beliefs, information, etc. – is also an essential element as ASU.

And I particularly likedย this quote, “What is great about a controversy is that people are more open about whatโ€™s going on, and you have more access to discussions and arguments.โ€

Perhaps we could chat about this; let me know if I should give you a call.

Best,

MH

Michael,

I took some time over the weekend to watch parts of the film. I appreciate the passion and determination you have put into this project.ย However, I regret to say that it is not something that will be shown nor endorsed by ASU.

If you would like me to return the DVD, I will be happy to do so if you provide an address. If you prefer, I would be happy to donate it to the local public library in hopes that more people may come across it and watch it.

Best of luck to you,

Beatriz

Beatriz,

I’m troubled by your lack of response to my request to have an explanation regarding your speaking for the entire school in stating that my film won’t be shown there.

That is a rather severe thing to say about a film, especially one that is completely devoid of profanity, pornography, violence, etc. In fact, it sounds like outright…censorship, wouldn’t you agree?ย Is the information too threatening to your beliefs, religious views, etc.?

Perhaps this is a misunderstanding and you really only meant that, in your opinion, no professor would sponsor it.

Let’s be honest, if I was a trendy, tattooed, twerking, twittering, trans (cultural, sexual, vestite, ylvannian, etc.), not only would my “diversity” be welcomed, I’d probably be well on my way to having my own departmentย at many universitiesโ€ฆperhaps even yours.

Think I’m exaggerating? Well,ย if this isย factual, I think you really do owe me an explanationโ€ฆand an invitationย to present something that just may stimulate actualย thinking. Afterย all, isn’t that what a university is supposed to be cultivatingโ€ฆinstead of promoting belief systems and trendy aberrations?

I look forward to your response,

MH

Sir,

Yes, it is my opinion. I have been overly generous with my time for you, I even took time off my weekend to watch your film, and quite frankly, I have better things to do with my time.

I encourage you to find someone on the university who will show your film.

I hope you can appreciate that I have responsibilities that I get paid for, responding to every person who would like to have their work shown on campus is not one of them.

I respectfully request that you refrain from contacting me in the future.

Sincerely,

Beatriz Kravetz

Madam,

Thank you for the clarification.

I’ll only add that while you may well have better things to do with your time, based on theย program Iย linked to below, I think my film would provide a better use ofย many students’ย time than some of what is currently considered worthy of it.

Best,

MH

P.S. When I get emotional, non-specific reactions to my film and information, it’s usually because a person feels that theirย beliefs are threatenedโ€ฆwhich is as it should be in our puruit of the truth,ย since that is what higher education is supposed to be all about.

NOTE:

I’m amending this blog in response especially to what Nathanael has said in the comments section.

I think that Ms. Kravitz isโ€ฆfrightened. And it’s not because the film has anything to do with scary, imaginary “evil aliens”, “alien abductions” and the rest of the disinformation/entertainment that has contaminated and marginalized the overall UFO/extraterrestrial topic.

Since she couldn’t offer one significant, specific word to criticize or refute the content of the film, I think Ms. Kravitz may be frightened by the impenetrable credibility and non-dismissable reality of the Meier case and its paradigm shattering implications for life as we know it:

There are real, far more advanced, space traveling human beings who see things as they are, shun our institutionalized lying to self and others – including politics, religion and diplomacyย –ย and out of respect for our free will and right to self-determination cannot directly interfere in our relentlessly insane, suicidal behavior.

However, the genie is out of the bottle and while this reality must not be forced on anyone, pulling the blankets over one’s head won’t make the truth disappear. Such reactions are indicative of the pattern of denial, lack of intellectual curiosity, introspection and objective critical thinking that has sufficiently corroded the wiring in so many people’s brains, many of whom are under the illusion that they are “educated”, so that they fail to see just how fearful, controlled and manipulated they really are.

And in place of encouraging real thinking andย moralย courage, the educational environments all too often substitute shock value and give significance to fleeting contemporary trends, insignificant cultural icons and what people do with their genitalia, etc.

So this little 111 minute film is apparently a danger to the (tuition paying) young people who are inheriting this mess of a world and who deserve to at least consider, question and challenge the information for themselves, not have it hidden from, or decided for, them by anyone else.

Congratulations Michael for the work and the level of the last posts about politics . I have thought that people lose their spiritual awareness and power, negating the movement of causation and compensation for them and their best interests , by delivering part of his political power and the other party to religion (or religious leaders ) .

One must be very naive not to feel that the ” astral ” Earth is totally hooked and we are not understood even by those who might be on our side . Basically, people do not want to get out of your comfort zone and do not even understand what an intelligent discussion , which feed the reflection on the experience of enlightenment and exercise .

If you fail to inform, enlighten someone thinking and debate , much of the masses and those who undergo doctrines , sects and leaders would be lit automatically. This is completely contrary to logic and good common sense , and before displaying detached parts of the teachings , it would be best synthesize them better or do nothing . For blaming others to disrupt someone , when you know that here is an area of โ€‹โ€‹reviews , it’s a stupid or dishonest .

Sorry , but is very complicated an melancholici to bring a minimal light with discussions , investigations and distintions, when we know that humanity will still take centuries to finally understand even the basic things correctly ( In my country there is the expression ” spirit of pig” for those who put even greater difficulties , because even without much hindrance is difficult to maintain lucidity in front of so many variants . And most of people benefits from the confusion, of a way or another, unable disinterested to distinguish the most basic things. Already I was supposed to have ended my net session today, but this message maybe please someone two or three days, before these posts befall in forgiveness)

Michael,

Don’t you see, going to college or a university does not have anything to do with finding the truth. Instead the whole point to going to ‘college’ is to party!!! The education is to drink lots of beer, smoke weed, and get laid as much as you can. These skills are essential for ‘making it’ in the real world. What planet are you living on? This place is called Earth, not Erra!

Well done Michael , but like you , I also meet with the exact same responses from 99.9 percent of people whom i share /greet the information with , and sometimes THEY are the one’s that ask the questions !!!?? When they have the information at their fingertips / they ALWAYS respond back to me ….”what drugs are YOU on!” “What Drug F@$#ed idiots wrote this? !!! And this is from 1000’s of people.
ETC ETC ETC .99.9 percent . I am just left dumbfounded and in disbelief that these so called “intelligent people , are actually dimwitted egotistical morons !! Go figure !!!!! I am the only one here in Adelaide South Australia /Western Australia with a brain? Most of these people around my parts have an atheist view as well .
i know all the reasons why as well as you do Michael / schooling/education/politics/religion/Culture, its just so DAMN frustrating that these people CANT and WONT think for themselves and to be self responsible !. As frustrating as this is , i still remain neutral and very relaxed .as always !

Well what does this mean?

First she stated that she watched parts of the film.
Then she said she watched the whole film.
Next she put you in with the not one of us categories.
Finally she played the victim card.

The whole thing is rotten. I tell you, gosh nabbit!!!

How inept, docile, indolent and dumb-down do people have to get? It is a sad day when a country of 350 Million have to import their work force. When there are classes that encourage networking, psycho-fanatical, sycophantic attitudes and behaviors as a means of getting ahead it becomes so apparent that the crops(peoples) are going to suffer.

I know overpopulation is the main problem but the reality is that it only got this way because people do not know how to think. With add-wizards like this lady at positions of importance we haven’t got a snowballs chance in hell at righting this ever capsizing ship.

Lets stop losing ground by pretending we are saving face and from now on call it as it is. She is a dodo! That’s right a dodo and what happened to the dodo? It became extinct but not before feeding a bunch of other animals which were introduced to its habitat that it had no natural defenses for errr… okay maybe this isn’t the best analogy. She played the victim card, argumentum ad misericordiam!!!

Anyone feeling the urge to write her should do just that.

Peace

I really appreciate your effort Michael. I wish I could articulate things just half as well as you. I’d be dangerous. Reading through your conversation with Beatriz is very saddening. Almost makes me tearful. Your efforts are clearly paying off though. Keep at it. One by One, we’ll break through.

Bruce

unfortunately, I’d be far more surprised (pleasantly so ) if her response & your other recent attempt were open & willing to your invitation

all you need is one to get the ball rolling .. and then it will roll right over the rest of them, like a giant snowball sucking them into the vortex … they are all too chicken-hearted to be the first … they’d rather follow the other lemmings, despite that cliff up ahead

oh, and love the title to this post! ๐Ÿ˜€

Hi Michael,

You’re doing a great job, your films are great. But, as I have said many times, there’s only one road to the truth – people must read and study, they must do the WORK.

Anthony

Hey Tony,

I would disagree. I think Horn’s films are mega important. I think they are just as important as a Figu book, bulletin, translation or website. I have learned much from all the Billy Meier films and they have given me much to study. Personally, I would rather watch a film than read a book. Keep the films coming….

Tony Vasquez - Professional Astrologer

Films are great, but why do you think Billy writes so much? Reading, studying, re-reading and THINKING about you have read, is the beat way to understand the material.

Anthony

Hi Tony,

I may be wrong about this; but keep in mind I’m the type of person who would rather do as little reading as possible and not be an idiot. I may seem like some kind of clown or childish person, but I have looked over a lot of the Meier material. I even have checked out Randy Winters material and as well as other unauthorized works. And I have come to this understanding: Depending on what you want to accomplish, if you want to be a Figu German scholar and do it all, or just interested in the historical information, or the prophecies, or the UFO stuff, or just the spirit teaching or a combination thereof.

The spirit teaching is NOT rocket science (difficult). NO; being spiritual is far from that and is very EASY for people of any intelligence. In my opinion, once you understand what religion is, that it is belief that keeps you from discovering the truth on your own, all you really need to do is build a good foundation of learning about Creation/Universe/Universal Consciousness (the one), and try to find/understand the laws and directives, apply this everyday on yourself and on your life, no matter what your level, and you are DOING IT! Done… you got your training wheels off and you don’t NEED Billy Meier anymore, you now WANT him. MH’s films are a nice refresher course, and a spirit lesson; and I get to see beamships, and Billy in person, and the researchers and skeptics, that is what I like. You may be different and that is great. I certainly read Figu books like “the Might of the Thoughts,” “The Talmud of Jmmanuel,” “Still They Fly,” and would never give up reading. I just don’t like it as much as a bookworm/librarian/scholar, I just want the basics and I can build my own house! I would rather discover Creation on a nature walk.

Cheers!

Jim Deardorff

Hello Michael,

Back some 30 years ago, I recall that at least a couple ufologists were going around to the universities, trying to get permission to give UFO talks there, and succeeding pretty well. They were Stanton Friedman, and then Robert Hastings โ€“ well over a hundred universities, I think, over the years. There do seem to be a couple reasons why they met with more success than you have. Fist, most everyone has heard of the UFO phenomenon, and nearly half the population are aware it is, or could be, real. That remains the same. Second, ufologists have long disparaged the idea that any UFO contactee could be genuine, and so they came down extra hard against the Meier case. Due to this extra measure of ridicule against Billy Meier, ufologists in their presentations may ridicule and slander Meier to show that they can discriminate between whatโ€™s real and whatโ€™s hoax, and to show that they are being politically correct within their own peer group.
.
Evidently Beatriz knew, or quickly found out, that academic institutions nowadays consider any serious presentation about aliens showing their craft to us or contacting one of us as a taboo topic since it is nopt sanctioned by mainstream science. And if she googled โ€œBilly Meierโ€ or asked opinions from others who have, she must have quickly realized that to allow you to give a talk there would cause loss of reputation for herself and perhaps for her university.

In 1985 I gave a one-hour seminar on the Meier case โ€“ mostly the photos โ€“ within my department at Oregon State University. I could get away with it then, as I was a faculty member still in good standing. I was met mostly with stunned silence and one outspoken critic of the mindset: It looks too good to be real so it must be an obvious hoax, and surely if this were real and had been going on for 10 years I would have heard about it.

I do think the situation has become worse since then, stronger polarization between ufologists and scholars, and stronger polarization between ufologists and those knowledgeable on the Meier-case. So to overcome this double ridicule barrier is tougher yet, between academia and Meier-case supporters.

As usual I take issue with your โ€œNOTE: The Billy Meier UFO contact case has nothing to doโ€ฆwith the plethora ofโ€ฆ lights-in-the-sky chasing โ€˜UFO industryโ€™ โ€ฆโ€ .As you know, itโ€™s not an industry, and people here and there when their camera was available have taken a picture showing a saucer-shaped craft, or of other shape and/or have witnessed it, in the distance. Others have had their curiosity aroused and collected hundreds or thousands of witnessesโ€™ reports, etc. Would you disparage them the same way most ufologists disparage the Meier case? Do they deserve it? Suppose someone handed you a photo they took that shows a saucer-like craft in the distant background, and swears it was no hoax. Suppose it was the photo within this short article
:
http://www.tjresearch.info/McAiney_A-surprise.htm ,

and then suppose you learned that Billy had examined the photo and learned that it had been a Plejaren craft containing Ptaah and Florena. I trust you would say it was not a part of the โ€œUFO industry,โ€ though you would still feel that most other credible sightings are.

So I believe you should give credit where credit is due, to the hard and valid work done by many ufologists since 1947, while continuing to let them learn how wrong most of them are about the Meier case, when the occasion arises. Itโ€™s the same way with astronomers: we give them full credit for having brought us to the point where we know that oodles of extra-solar planets exist in our galaxy, while chiding them when the occasion arises for thinking that alien intelligences millions of years more advanced than us in their evolution and science could not long long ago have found ways of circumventing our present restrictions on space travel imposed by rocketry and relativity, and hence long ago have visited Earth. If and when they discover other planets with oxygen and hence life, that will be another step forward towards making scientists wonder if maybe those multitudes of UFO reports of craft making intelligent and astounding maneuvers just might be real and mean an alien presence has been around Earth after all.

Think how much more credible the Meier case is, knowing that alien craft have been cavorting in our skies for decades, than if none of that had occurred and Meierโ€™s Plejarens had just appeared within a vacuum of UFO awareness.

Tony Vasquez - Professional Astrologer

Hi Michael,

Once again, Jim’s viewpoint is incorrect. I agree with you 100%, not out of friendship, but out of logic, understanding, and a realization of how important the Meier material is to all of Humanity.

I have had 4 “UFO” close clear sightings, and one close encounter, the details of which will remain secret for now.

There are 1000s of real “UFO” sightings every year worldwide. None of them are going to help Humanity survive, very much, if at all.

I met Friedman on a radio show in the late 80’s. I thought he was CIA. He denounced the Meier case, and told me, and the entire radio audience, that Meier was a hoax. I asked him, on the air, if he could prove that. He said, “I don’t have to.” After a long discussion, I told him he was either CIA, or an idiot, or both. I asked him if he had looked at the evidence related to the Meier case. He said yes, and that it was ALL bogus. I told him he was incorrect, and refused to speak to him the rest of the show. In my opinion, he was/is disinformation.

Anthony

Dear Tony,

Please don’t take this the wrong way, but is nearly everything said on this blog, with few exceptions, “incorrect?”

Personally, I agree with Jim Deardorff on many of his points. The Meier case carries a STIGMA. Why would any professor who is in it for money and ego, want to risk their career on a one arm farmer who pisses off all major religions and so called academic experts? No one in their right mind!!! And I can’t say I blame them. The Meier case is a long-term project (mission) spanning hundreds of years. There is plenty of time to get it. However, we may be living on a garbage dump filled with wars and suffering in the meantime. But hey, look on the bright side, chances are in about 800 years we will be taking this seriously and cleaning up ourselves and the planet. In the mean time, LET THE CONDOM OLYMPICS rage on. I think Michael is too hard on it and needs to consider that safe sex and avoiding pregnancy are important issues in themselves for the lowly earth humans.

BTW- What I don’t understand, is why Michael thinks that ASU students will not get to see his film? If the faculty shows the film it will be deemed to square for the beer bong parties; but if it becomes taboo with the nutty professors it will be a ‘big hit’ at dorm and fraternity parties campus wide. All Michael needs to do now is get a flyer out on campus… something like, “The forbidden film your teachers and school are too afraid to show you… can be bought legally and for a limited time before the CIA shuts us down at TheyFly.com. Oh and bring $25 to this party. Beer, pineapple express, and condoms sold separately.”

Hi Anthony,

Much of the Meier material is about pointing out what is incorrect human thinking and human behavior – over-population, religions, war, poverty, pollution, global warming, degenerate films and music, etc.

Michael said, “…and deal with things of huge, historical importanceโ€ฆas well as their own future survival.”

That’s is the main point of my words above, as explained in the Henoch Prophecies.

Tony

Maybe, one sweet day, after you have vowed not to speak to each and every person in turn… there will be none left for you to jabber at, and you can be alone with your superior, irreproachable mind. That way you wont have to get dragged down into the filth of human interaction anymore, which is so clearly beneath you…and we wont have to suffer you anymore.

Tony Vasquez - Professional Astrologer

I’ll continue to write, if I so choose. I’m not forcing you to read what I write, just ignore it, you don’t resonate with it anyway. Since you’re so bent on insulting me, you can have the last word, I won’t reply to you again.

Have a great day.

Andy and Tony, gentlemen, come, come now! please give peace a chance now. I very much enjoy and admire both your passionate debates. In spirit of universal fraternity and solidarity please continue to contribute to this blog, despite your intellectual differences of opinion, please do not deprive us… Even if you both may not be willing to bury the proverbial “hatchet” at this point in time and can’t mutually correspond in consonance.

Andy,

Your criticism of Tony is a bit harsh now, don’t you think?
In my personal opinion your Ad Homimen attacks against Tony’s nature of mind are presumptuous at best. I seek not to censor your personal opinions/quesioning of Tony’s claims/logical arguments. But I find the spirit of your response not in line with the Spiritual teaching.

Anthony

Dear Tony,

Please consider what Andy has said. He has NOT insulted you. I mean that in sincerity. He has only pointed out the truth, imo.

Take care my friend,
Anthony

Andy

Neuro,

You may be right. Thanks.

Mark

Might be easier Mike to get your books/vids in the School Library shelves or video section. I remember in my college we used to have a UfO section which I found amazing for the time. Get it in there and then promote it on the school boards with flyers so they know where to find it. There are smart people in universities but most have no balls and care more about their pensions and peers than UFOโ€™s or the truth.

Eva Z.

Hi Michael,

I have always been impressed with your writing skills and getting to the point gracefuly. I found hilarious the email conversations you had with that Beatrize woman. Its hard to believe the universities produce this kind of closed minded, primitive and idiotic crowd like she represents. This is the best proof and example why we are in such a deep shit as a nation…Don’t throw pearls before swine…They are not ready…I wish I could sponsor your work one day on the large scale….I’m praying for it…And these people are going to wake up one day and get hit on the head that they missed the boat…their loss…
keep up doing the great work…love, eva

I really liked this one from Michaels blog post…
“However, the genie is out of the bottle and while this reality must not be forced on anyone, pulling the blankets over oneโ€™s head wonโ€™t make the truth disappear. Such reactions are indicative of the pattern of denial, lack of intellectual curiosity, introspection and objective critical thinking that has sufficiently corroded the wiring in so many peopleโ€™s brains, many of whom are under the illusion that they are โ€œeducatedโ€, so that they fail to see just how fearful, controlled and manipulated they really are.”
It “seems” to have a lot of meaning for those who are already interested in this case as well. As far as I see it, this sums up not only clueless university faculty, but also most of our fellow humans at one point in time or another. I have had a few times in my life where this could have been me being blogged about. Maybe not so openly and more so from within myself… holding back that which should not be, for STUPID reasons.
The odds of being zapped by the truth can leave a everlasting in-print on a person,(if one wants it too) especially if they never saw it coming. Yet, most seem to be content being bred for their role as sheeple… Might have to head to the closest church to my area… which is fittingly named “shepherd of the lake”.
My college days were when I became aware of Billy’s case.. I spent more time reading about Billy and all relevant information than studying it seems. I went to college a bit(23) later(and multiple of them) than a lot around me, and just wasn’t as interested in all the “fun” everyone was having..though I had my share.
Seems to be more important to “someone” at this supposed critical “learning” time to make sure there is adequate distractions available.(bars and liquor stores littered the area around the main university I attended)
Especially that hefty trillion$ debt stuffed down American students throats, which is usually cocked and loaded, before one class room is even entered.
It is a dangerous time of cognition and personal introspect for one, in ones college days…. thus, let all of everything(alcohol, drugs of all kind, sex, sports, “idiocy”, “distractions”(video games), acceptance, etc, etc) polarized be unleashed. Nobody wants to make this look bad… MOST colleges do it on their own. Yet, don’t tell them that, they don’t want to loose their job. Funny how religious “colleges” have a created persona of the complete opposite?(coincidence) Squeeze the noose a little tighter, for different reasons/goals?
The school I attended offered all kinds of random things to do… but very little on anything to do with our ignorant view of our place in the universe. The one class I will say, that got me thinking was philosophy…
Though, if it wasn’t for the hard work and thought that was needed to get my currently irrelevant “degree” in irrelevance… I might not have noticed Billy’s case. For that, college was worth it:)
Another good place to shine a light though, there were many dark halls and classes in MY college days…

Hi Michael,

here are some suggestions for a different approach regarding universities and colleges:

1. Don’t use the obvious channel, meaning the marketing and communication people, managers, organizers and so on.
2. Study the webpages of the professors to get an idea about their psychology and open-mindedness.
3. Look for things like “most liked prof”, “cool prof”, “best prof ever” etc. on the college or university website etc.
4. Make a list of potential candidates.
5. Approach them via mail or even better in person, if possible.

It would also be very helpful, if you could get to the students and ask them directly, if they want to see something like this, so that they can then suggest this to other students, profs and so on.

It seems to me, that nowadays we have to take the side-routes more often, to reach our destination, because the main roads are blocked or filled with holes so big, that they swallow the whole car. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Marco K.

Since you regularly go to Schmidrรผti, maybe you could also consider making presentations at the universities in Basel, Zรผrich, Bern, Konstanz(Germany, roughly 30 miles from Schmidrรผti), Freiburg(Germany, 100 miles) and others, instead of just the ones in Arizona and the US. The costs of travelling from the SSC to the nearby universities, schools, colleges etc. would be minimal. Maybe FIGU or a study group can help with that.

I’ll see what I can do regarding “ground work” in my area but don’t expect anything. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Marco K.

The people at the center may not have the time, because they are very busy, but maybe the Studiengruppe Sรผddeutschland can help. A good person to contact would be Achim Wolf, who also initiated the following birth control petition: http://www.change.org/de/Petitionen/weltweite-geburtenregelungen-verbindlich-einf%C3%BChren-introduce-obligatory-worldwide-birth-controls

Another thought that keeps coming back to me has to do with my daughter. She is almost 4 years old.. What does college and the truth of our “existence” have to do with her?
I came home from working one day not long ago to find her watching a children’s show called “Arthur”, Which has a background as supposedly “educational entertainment” and is the longest running children’s animated series in the U.S.. Second longest animated series in US behind the simpsons.
What caught my eye was a particular episode of this nonsense she was watching… Which was about Mars and a little back story to the whole “extraterrestrial” aspect of it. It was blatant propaganda oozing with FEAR! And this show is geared to any age, but 5 and over “get it” best.
Second half of episode has the “meat”… rancid as it is. Though it all stinks!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlsVqZfnqyo

If this is what is being spoon fed to our children is there any hope that they will be enriched enough to understand better when they are in college? Seems the gates are trying to be closed on us before we even think about if there is a choice to decide for ourselves? If someone is exposed to this enough they wont even care about their job and standard of deducting the truth… it will have been so blatantly pushed onto them that they will dismiss it “right out” from nothing other than repetitious fear based exposure to nonsense like this.

We all have been exposed to it in one form or another… I don’t want my daughter to be afraid. It is so unnecessary and farther from the truth than anything could ever be. Our children have an exceedingly steep hill to climb residing in the jungle created around us and our “educational” institutions.

Philip Brandel

This really gives a little more meaning to our overpopulation problem… Do we even want more children brought into a world where this is the “norm”?
When the adults cant even get it right, how do we expect to be able to pass anything on to our offspring. Especially within such basic illogical grounds for supposedly growing in “awareness”.
Minus the monumental problems overpopulation does to our planet and humanity in general… look what it has done to our basic education and ability to not let our children get “lost” in the ocean of idiocracy.

Home schooling is looking better and better for my daughter…
So is a vasectomy!!!

Anthony

Dear Philip,

I watched the show and it was cute. Plus I thought that there were a lot of great messages in there, like:

1. The more you learn about something the less scary it becomes.
2. Just because it has never been done before, does not mean that YOU can’t do it. Dream big!
3. One person can inspire others to reach for something once thought too big.

I personally think that it is safe for your child to be watching it. It was not negative on ETs. If anything was scary it was the two kids wanting to be cowboy cops when they grew up so they could arrest people for not wearing hats. They were the ones scaring the little girl with the big lizard blood story. But that message seemed circumvented by the little girl overcoming the nonsense and proving to the class that Mars was fun and interesting, and not so scary after all.

Philip Brandel

True… I guess I focused more on the wrong message portrayed in general. Maybe the overall theme seemed to give me a negative vibe, though they did end on a somewhat positive note. Just didn’t understand why it has to be negative at all. Though that is what we focus on I suppose. One must see the negative within it… to see the “positive”? It is all that is given I guess.. all that is “known” to most.
This is why it took me awhile to actually think about it “out loud”. The fact that they thought it was important to bring up Orson Wells some 76 years later kind of miffed me! It was a pointless and dangerous en devour then… let alone now. Should be lost in history, where it belongs!
Funny that the Plejaren have talked about this “scare tactic/conditioning” by Wells(others) and its ramifications. Seems to still be used to this day for that purpose… Yet, the more scared one gets from it.. the less scared it becomes I suppose. Integrated into ones mind all the way through life.
I am just sick of all the nonsense about scary space… it seems pointless to me. Why not make it all positive? Is there a need to go “negative”? I suppose for some there is a need. Yet, I will have A LOT of explaining to do with my daughter, and a lot of long nights for her exposure to this sort of “educational learning”.

Peace

Marco K.

I’ve watched it too and I have to agree with Anthony. This episode of the show has some good messages for the children.

Hi Mike, maybe Neil deGrasse Tyson could help you with getting your DVD noticed by more people? Send him a DVD as a gift.

The Plejaren could use their 3D holography to show your DVD on the world’s largest wrap around big screen, the northern hemisphere and an upside down feature for the entire southern hemisphere, thus a double feature.

A comment unrelated to ASU but roughly related to astronomy:

I watched the banned Ted talk of one Rupert Sheldrake, I guy Dyson touts highly. He presented some interesting evidence that the speed of light is NOT constant. A quick google search shows this is actually quite a burgeoning theory. Perhaps another Billy corroboration unfolding.

Darcy Wade Carlile

I can imagine the speed of light does slow down as the everlasting present time stretches on for trillions of years.
