I’m somewhat disappointed with the hoops ‘n’ hurdles that PayPal has installed online for someone like myself, a non-business head. I’m in Canada, I google paypal canada, sign up with a valid email & password, then I’m instructed to follow their prompts [like a good lil boy] … I’ve seen that I can verify my email to activate my paypal acct … then secondary prompt suggests that a couple deposits are put to my bank personal acct and when that occurs I can REALLY activate my paypal acct by following more prompts. Well, now … IF I COULD obtain a real phone # to SIMPLY TALK TO A REAL PERSON, I could very easily explain that I’m experiencing difficulties performing what these prompts describe will deliver. I’m not stupid … yet it seems VERY STUPID not to be able to pick up my phone, call someone representing paypal, and have my particular issue resolved. So … until I am treated like a REAL person, I won’t be jumping through any more hoops to make the purchases I had hoped to follow through with.
… re: my PayPal dilemma, it is [was always] somewhat insignificant. There are slight imperfections, as is the case with most things humans can design and construct. So, although PayPal [owned by eBay] seems to prefer NOT communicating customer service a’ la voice to voice, I have solved my situation on my own. Now, after depositing a small $ amount into my PayPal account, and having ALREADY verified everything rerquired, all I need do is WAIT until my bank catches up with the procedures. heeheee
