Terrestrial Astrology: Science or Superstition?

Since my previous blog also became a lightening rod for opposing views on astrology, I offer this one for the discussion of the topic. I have titled it Terrestrial Astrology: Science or Superstition? since the issue includes the idea that the astrology that the Plejaren are said to practice is far different, more advanced and accurate than our terrestrial version.

Hopefully some light can be shed that will be of value to all concerned.

Looks like “Nate” is busy upgrading the blog site. One more suggestion … allowing updates to blog entry by author as long as it hasn’t been “approved” yet. That would save people having to read self-correction follow up posts.

Rob

This probably belongs here, as a few of his visions seems to bring a matches to what Tony V has predicted. The list is a bit long but #33 and a number of other entries as well as celebrities named seem to match Tony’s, though with a different take. That is what caught my attention…

I’m not big on psychics in general as most of them have more misses than hits (unlike Cayce), so take it for what it is worth.

Michael Freesmeier

You realize, he might not be 100% accurate, but he must be onto something. This next 3 weeks will be the bigeeeee. If he pulls this one off, I’ll buy him a beer…or 2.

Rob

Since some people here may be curious about astrology and what a reading looks like, I just received an ad from the Cayce organization for a flash sale of charts at $9 each today only. This is the first time I’ve seen them do charts for this low a price so some may wish to take advantage to “experiment” at a low-cost.

Here is the link:

Also, today is a full moon and someone predicted a possible earthquake in CA “based on science.” See my post on 8/25 if you missed it. Hopefully it does not happen.

Rob

I just noticed something that I did not notice before a few years ago. Some here following numerology may find this interesting — the Cayce sale offers a numerology chart as well. Clicking on the sample (which uses the data from Edgar Cayce’s own info, interesting…), it shows that it is run through the Decoz software, which is the same one mentioned by several people on the FIGU forum as being relatively accurate to them when they tried it. However, if you have used the free one from Decoz before, you know that it just gives you the basics. For a detailed run one basically has to pay for the advanced software, and it appears that this chart/report from Cayce is the full version.

I will be ordering one, but since I have already studied his book, which is in depth (like the advanced software report), and am doing this just for comparison purposes.

Matt lee

Back in 2006 or thereabouts I ran that software through for myself and others and I thought it was accurate enough to be compelling until certain things kept getting repeated like the daily horoscope you get in newspapers where if you jumbled around the signs and hid them before reading it it did appear that practically every sign applied to you because of the general but clever nature of the wording.
But let us know Rob how you went

Rob

Yes, I do recall seeing you mentioning it.

Yes, I agree his “basic overview” wording is somewhat clever and will be questioned by anyone who is able to reason above “belief.” However, I find some of the “specifics” hidden in the clever wording undeniably applicable to the person (and only that person) within my test pool of family members. That aroused my interest to get his book, which further explains the more advanced things not covered in the basics. After reading the book and applying the technique, I have no doubt in my mind he has reached a certain level of mastery.

As with everything else terrestrial, nothing in accordance to the laws laid down by creation is “perfectly known,” besides the basic laws of science like addition, subtraction, laws of relativety, etc., which shows how little we know.

Knowing this, and reminding one self of this, should help one to accept what “is” from each fellow person and use the knowledge for what it is worth in each lifetime. 🙂

Rob

Another thought, Matt …

When you do any kind of “insight” study of a person, it is helpful to evaluate it from a 3rd person perspective. The person reading about himself/herself will tend to get pulled by the ego and agree with what sounds good, even if untrue, and accept what sounds bad, only if he/she has learned the lesson from the past. If they have not reach a state of self-acceptance, self-evaluation would be rather tainted. I live or see the people I had run the basic as well as extended astrology and numerology charts for, and can observe the “unique truthfulness” of the information. However, I also see things that has not manifested on those people being mentioned, and always keeping in mind that the study is “imperfect” or perhaps a type of suppression is at work that is being discounted.

In response to your statement that certain things kept getting repeated, keep in mind that there are only 9 primary number for interpretation, and terrestrial astrology has 12 (13) signs, both of which has sublevels of sublevels of … like that which has been discussed in the early contacts. Viewed in that context, it is not inplausible to have some attributes repeated across a population sample. I see it as similar to saying “person A has the qualities of a analytical mind and if person B also has it, they both probably have the same (set of?) numbers, just not manifested to the same degree, nor biorythmically the same time of their live, etc.” It is not a perfect example but hopefully some part of it makes sense?

🙂

Matt lee

I agree Rob
Well decos was a good enough gimmick to be amusing and for amusing others and it was compelling nonetheless
Cheers

Rob

Last note, in case it is not known, the Cayce organization is non-profit so anything you do purchase from them is expensable under charitable donations on a tax return, if that helps. In effect, Uncle Sam is helping you to pay for a portion of this experiment.

A penny saved is a penny earned.

Rob

Tony V told me that his predictions usually come true within 2 years when I asked him about a delineation criteria for establishing a “didn’t come true” filter.

He also shared a few other predictions but I will not be posting here on his behalf for obvious reason. Interested party may read the tracking page I have set up previously, fwiw.

Rob

By all standards of measurement, I agree. 🙂

6.2 Quake SOUTHERN ALASKA
Preliminary Earthquake Report USGS

September 10, 2014 TV posted the following:

Before November 10, 2014, 5.0 – 6.0 quake in Alaska, and  7.0 – 7.5 quake in Indonesia.
An extreme solar flare hits Earth in Oct. 2014.   Satellite communications interrupted.

Rob

There were 36 mini quakes (M2.5+) in the Mammoth Lake area of California in the last 24 hours, according to USGS tracking.

Andy

Superstition.

Rob

Tony mentioned that on 8/3 he had sent an email to MH about first Ebola case in Texas.

Andy

That’s interesting. Perhaps he does have some ability — something I never actually ruled out completely. Certainly though, if he does have some ability, it has been GROSSLY overstated with his claim of 90% precision. If 4 particular — currently healthy — individuals bite the bullet before the end of the year, I will be intrigued.

Its too bad; if he does have some unique talents, I would have enjoyed learning from him — had he not been perhaps the most insufferable and arrogant person I have ever had acquaintance. Any would-have-been value he could have afforded this forum was buried by his pomposity, lies, mean-spiritedness, and illusions of grandeur.

Rob

“Love one’s neighbor.”

Can someone elaborate what that means? Since Billy mentioned it in the FIGU SB (and I’m pretty sure elsewhere as well that I just cannot recall), I would have used one of my turns to Questions-to-Billy if only to remind myself and if I didn’t have so many other questions pending. I’m equally “curious” of when it should not be practiced.

Incidentally Cayce mentioned this more than a few times in his readings.

(I will re-paste this question in the other post where it obviously belongs, but in light of the comments under discussion, it would perhaps be appropriate to leave one here.)

Matt lee

Hi Rob to me ‘love one’s neighbour’ means ‘we ain’t there yet’ and ‘we need to figure out this mystery’.
‘The human being speaks of a love that he does not know’ by gaiaguys and ‘knowing oneself’ by Billy are good articles that covers this topic well as well as ‘doing something for thy neighbour’.
In this era our heads are so fractured, dislocated, miseducated, disinformed, confused, altered, distracted and so uneducated in the truthly truth so much so that I don’t think many have truly figured out what ‘real love’ is to genuinely be able to ‘love one’s neighbour’ me included.
So answer your question
‘I have no idea’

Rob

Matt,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

MH has given some insight into this subject with his reply in the other post. 🙂

Rob

Sheila

You really need to get out into your neighbourhood more and meet your neighbours, that would be the first step. Get to know them and wave and say hi when you see them. If they need to borrow a tool, lend it. If they are going away and need someone to watch their place, do it. Someday you may need the favour returned.

Rob

Great advice.

I have this feeling that a number of forum members have attempted that. Anyone care to share the experience, both new in the neighborhood and in an existing neighborhood before you found the “spirit teaching” materials?

What happened?

Dave

Darren Brown a well-known T.V personality here in the U.K is an illusionist, trickster, hypnotist, painter, writer, and sceptic. He is known for his appearances in television specials, stage productions, and British television series such as Trick of the Mind .Since the first broadcast of his show Darren Brown: Mind Control in 2000, Brown has become increasingly well known for his mind-reading act. He has written books for magicians as well as the general public.
One of his acts was to ask the birthdates of 12 random people because he would like to do an Astrological reading for them, they of course eagerly obliged and finally opened there named, sealed envelopes in private to read, each person was asked privately what they thought about the reading they had received and each one of them was extremely impressed and couldn’t believe how accurate he was with them.
Later they all got together to have a “group” response and the verdict was overwhelmingly given that there readings were very accurate and no one said otherwise.
Darren got the group to swap reading with each other and it turned out they were all the same reading.
What these “charlatans” use is a “hook” they “hook” you in with the argument off there believers that there MUST be some truth in it because they told me this or that. The same defence that people use for Astrology must apply to Card Readers right down to chicken bone throwers.
Am I surprised that T.V’s earthquake prediction was wrong – No, and would have I been amazed if he was correct – No.
Best wishes
Regards

Dave

Rob

One can only be amazed if one does not understand the means the “amazement” was accomplished (akin to “miracles,” and “magics”) and chose to remain ignorant of the underlying knowledge. — RoK

Matt lee

Dave it’s best I think to let bygones be bygone as he is already way gone by now.
In his absence he can’t defend himself and there is something about ‘back chatting’ or ‘back biting’ that just doesn’t seem to mix well here for the kinda intention it always spawns from.
But I do understand where you are coming from no doubt.

Matt lee

Michael I don’t understand you sometimes.
Not that it matters and of course it is a two way street I know but you have been guilty of persistently ignoring the judgement of your peers here and now this response about Tony.
I don’t get it especially coming from you.
Dyson Andy Duke Bruce and others have said all that was needed to be said and more yet they were ignored over your overridding need to prove that which you probably suspected to be incorrect.
So essentially your belief was more important than the truth it seems.
It was only after I gave a stink about it which Tony had picked up and ran with that you finally decided to do something about it.
So which spiritual law did you have in mind where Tony was persistently given the benefit of the undeserved doubt at the expense of other forum member’s correct judgement.

Dave

Matt Lee, your right, bygones should be bygones.
best wishes
regards
Dave

Odd, I’m seeing “Zoe Saldana is Expecting Twins” as one of the “You May Also Like:” links above. Anyone else seeing this? Is this a new ad link on this blogsite?

Rob

Yes, I’ve seen these ads at your blog site regularly now, interspersed with real topics. If I’m the only one seeing it, then I might have a trojan somewhere.

For example, at this moment it is not showing any stray topics. I have saved a few of the incidents as PDF files so you can see what I’m talking about when we meet.
