I should also mention that the AI-powered translation website at https://www.deepl.com/translator makes short work of producing very readable translations these days. Its much better than any other translation website I’ve tested.
I think the main difficulty in translating is to find interpreters who speak German very well and as a second language – the language to which the texts will be translated.
With that said, I do not speak German at all. If I have to translate a DeepL English translation to a third language, or even fourth… this might lead to some distortions of the meaning.

The most accurate translation are performed by professional translators who are native speakers of the target language. For example, if a document is in German and needs to be translated into Romanian the translator has to be a native Romanian speaking translator fluent in German. In addition, the translator should be residing in Germany or Switzerland in order to translate all the nuances of the language accurately (we all have seen funny translated text before).
For large projects, translators use tools which guarantees consistency in terminology. Machine translation such as DeepL does not offer this.
The contact reports are conversational, offer a huge array of vocabulary, but are not difficult to translate. The spiritual books do have to maintain consistency in terminology and in style of writing. Thus, they should not be given to many translators. In our case, this is not a problem because in each of the country where one follows the teachings there are very few people at this time.

Mark Leaver and I are working on this and are figuring out which foreign language besides Spanish would be most beneficial to start with. We are also looking into the most efficient way to go about it due to the volume of information. I will keep you posted once we have a plan of action.

pbs used to have foreign language courses long before we had computers and the internet. Now we can even learn another language on you tube. There is also Bable on the internet and you can even learn other languages on the internet too and this also includes German, Russian, Spanish and other languages too, But I think when it comes to Billy

As an update on the translation of the Future Of Mankind in Spanish we are moving along with it. Today I proposed to the Passive FIGU members to create a workflow so that they can submit translation of CR as a first draft using machine translation which we will provide to them. Then the files will be reviewed, discussed and proofed before final publication along with the disclaimer that these are unofficial translation. The idea is that in the future people will fine tune the CR for more accuracy. The overall goal is to develop a system so that it is easier for additional languages to be translated.
If anyone is interested in participating in the project, please let me know. It’s a good way to learn German and Spanish at the same time.
