Cause & Effect: Solution – Part 1

Problem Description

There is a lot to be said about the problem, but I don’t spend much time with it because the solution is what needs our attention. However, just to make sure we are on the same page, here is a quick summary.

We all know what the problems are – the quality of life is decreasing, housing, energy, transportation, food, and education are becoming more and more difficult to afford, there are wars we don’t agree with and we know hunger is a source of suffering. Life is supposed to be getting better. We are supposed to be working less, becoming more efficient, living a better life — a life where we spend time with our family, a life dedicated to pursuing our personal growth and interests. Yet, this is not the world we live in. Most important of all, there are no clear indicators that we are taking steps in the right direction.

Cause Description

The cause of the problem is that the population, citizens and workforce – like the righteous and rational ones among the authorities and governments – do nothing against this, rather simply take part or simply let everything happen without putting up a fight against this deplorable state of affairs.

Their inactivity stems from allowing the authorities to think for them, either as a consequence of their misplaced and blind trust in authority and government or simple stupidity; resulting in people not only following orders that do themselves and others harm but also causing them to stop thinking for themselves, making them weak through a lack of knowledge and weakened thinking capacity, and becoming generally incapable of thinking and acting for themselves. They are then also not able to question the opinions of others, rather they simply adopt them without consideration and thereby live in the delusion that these opinions are correct and also are their own.

Further, people have currently no means of having a say on topics that are central to them; thus see no need to think about these topics and are consequently not able to form their own opinion.

Solution -Part 1

The solution is for us to think for ourselves and this means searching for information from as many different sources as possible, collecting it and assimilating it, to then compare it and to draw our own conclusion. Once we have a conclusion, we can seek to implement it. This can and should be done in groups, the so called non-profit and charitable organizations, where people think for themselves and vote on a solution.

As small groups practice direct democracy, they will be able to grow. Eventually these groups will connect and become one. With a large enough number, electing someone who will obey our orders into a local government position, like a mayor, will be achieved, using our practiced voting procedures. City after city, official after official we can take over government.

Issuing orders to government is something that must first be practiced in small groups before it can be implemented in larger organizations. This practice is what this site is all about.
