Humankind madly marches to its destruction, as the time fulfills
With the overwhelming abundance of information in Billy Meier’s hundreds of Contact Reports, sometimes it’s only long after first reading a contact that something in the news brings our attention back to information in it.
While America’s involvement in almost every conflict and war is a matter of record, sometimes its role is more oblique, such as mentioned here regarding the Falklands war.
In light of that, I was recaling this information from 1981:
183. But this war will be an additional sign for the Third World War, moving closer and closer.
184. Besides, this will also be the actual fundamental reason for the fact that, during the approaching Third World War, England will be attacked from the East by great force.
185. This however, still lies further into the future, and whenever the time arrives, no one will search for the reason for this attack on England in this approaching Falkland conflict, breaking out during the month of April 1982, although in truth the cause for it will be there.

Please listen to what Billy Meier says, in this excerpt from a 1982 recording. In addition to mentioning the Falklands, Russia and the US, he also names Iraq, Israel and…Iran as involved in the start of WW III.
While Meier clearly warned, years ago, that an attack on Iran could result in Russia and China attacking the US, another stupid thing you can expect, should the US actually attack Iran and if the blowback from Russia against the US isn’t immediate, skeptics will actually complain and point out that we haven’t been attacked…yet.

263. Military forces will also attack Finland, whereby many will be killed and an enormous destruction will be caused, after which the complete dissolution of the country will occur and the Russian forces will settle in it for a very long time.

While events are accelerating in our confused and troubled world, we will greatly benefit from reading, testing and implementing the non-religious, belief-free Creation-energy teaching. The point that continues to resonate with me is the one Michael notes here in this interview. It seems to me there is so much focus on the ufos and videos. Prognostications aside, we only need to look around at what is taking place to understand the situation we are all in. Is there some way to come together and effect change before it is too late? Does this tie into the mission of FIGU? Is there an active outreach mechanism?

Soviet Union[edit]For the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact militaries, the Falklands War forced a re-examination of their estimates in the quality of Western troops and in particularly, how well an all-volunteer force would compare against conscripted forces. The Soviets became aware that the British relied heavily on the quality and training of their personnel to compensate for the extreme logistical difficulties the campaign presented. It was also noted that both sides were using many of the same western made weapon systems, their combat performance and effectiveness information collected during and after the war was analyzed by the Soviets, to be used to create counter-combat strategies to bedopted by their forces in an event of a then-possible war against NATO.

Ultimately, the successful conclusion of the war gave a noticeable fillip to British patriotic feeling, with the mobilisation of national identity encapsulated in the so-called “Falklands Factor”. Since the failure of the 1956 Suez campaign, the end of Empire and the economic decline of the 1970s which culminated in the Winter of Discontent, Britain had been beset by uncertainty and anxiety about its international role, status and capability. With the war successfully concluded, Thatcher was returned to power with an increased Parliamentary majority and felt empowered to press ahead with the economic readjustments of Thatcherism.
A second major effect was a reaffirmation of the special relationship between the US and UK. Both Reagan and Weinberger (his Secretary of Defense) were appointed honorary Knights Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE) for their help in the campaign, but the more obvious result was the common alignment of Britain and the US in a more confrontational foreign policy against the Soviet bloc, sometimes known as the Second Cold War.
