With the announcement of the retirement of Pope Benedict XVI, speculation about the name of the next pope of course draws attention to the following information from the Henoch Prophecies:
“After the turn of the millennium, the papacy will exist only a short period. Pope John Paul II is the third from last in this position. After him, only one additional pontificate will follow. Then a Pontifex Maximus follows who will be known as Petrus Romanus. Under his religious rule, the end of the Catholic Church will come, a total collapse becoming inevitable. That will be the beginning of the worst catastrophe that will ever have befallen the human beings and the Earth. Many Catholic clerics, priests, bishops, cardinals and many others will be killed and their blood will flow in streams. But also the reformed version of Christianity will become just as infinitely small, as does Catholicism.”
This information was published in 1987 by Billy Meier (and has been online since at least 2006). Of course questions may arise such as, could there be a very brief interim pope, will the Vatican avoid naming him Peter at all costs, especially since they are very well aware of just who Billy Meier is, etc.?
But should he be named Peter/Petrus Romanus, and should Meier’s prophecy be referred to, be ready for the usual…”anybody could have said that back in 1987…” from the skeptics.

Would there be a different view on prophecy if this occurred ten years from now rather than 10+ days? The day was long coming as the prophecies from a variety of sources merely had to wait for the time to finally approach as in this particular case. I personally prefer to reflect back and take a positive approach to the future in order to make light of the current situation, not one that may or may not happen.
At the end of the day, it is what it is.
In reading the various prophecies and tragic outcome, provides nothing short than a scenario one in which the various governing bodies of the Earth appear to sign the death warrant of the planet, consigning a billion souls to oblivion. In that case, it is human nature to seek culpability in that prophesized time of tragedy. It is a sign of strength, to cry out against fate rather than to bow one’s head and succumb.
Inevitably, many reading the various prophecies shall fault the hands upon the sword which felled Terra to the various governing bodies across the globe. But the various officials in all structures of society merely perform the duty of its office. To further fear them is redundant; to hate them, heretical.
Those more sensible will place responsibility with those that forced the hands of the various governing bodies. With some fortune, they may foster this hatred into purpose, and further rule their own fate by coming to Earth Humanity’s service.
Yet ultimately, it is Earth Humanity that has set this into motion long ago.
Jesus, Yeshua or Jmmanuel, this state of confusion and alienation on Earth are insuportable, everybody pull out off your responsability on growt in knowledge and conscience because “Jesus will work it”. Our government has increased the penalties for child abuse/pedophilia, so I’m pretty sure the next pope will not be Canadian. In regards to the zombies, Minister of Foreign Affairs John Baird just announced in the House of Commons that “Canada would never be a safe haven for zombies”, so I guess they have to go elsewhere.
I would like to add my thoughts if i may about what is happening around the Pope retiring and the prophecy that goes along with this. I have alwyas been of the mind that this “last pope” would take on the name Petrus Romanus or Peter The Rome if you will. Why would anyone in their right mind being chosen to the position of pope would choose that title. With the internet something like this would go viral and who knows what crazies would appear from under what rock. Also I believe there is a rule for the lack of a better word, that a Pope cannot take on the name Peter. So the only way someone could have the name Peter the Rome and not attract any attention is his birth name was Peter and he was from Rome. Case and Point Cardinal Tarcisio Pietro (Peter in English) Evasio Bertone, born in Romano Canavese, Piedmont. This is a suburb of Rome and based on some research I have done this interim pope does not get a long with the Curia (aka The Holy See)and has supposedly been involed with money laundering which involved the vaticant bank. Should this be true he and the powers that be may not want him to relenquish this power which may lead to the streamimhg of blood as prophiesed as well. Just my thoughts.

During this “sede vacante”, “vacant see” , it is interesting to note that the apparent defualt leader–or, perhaps, the “Pontifex Maximus”– is now a one carmalengo Tarcsico “Pietro” Bertone…who is, yes, from Rome. Perhaps the long-foretold “Petrus Romanus” has already assumed his inglorious position. I wonder if the prophesy would change just because they chose another name?? The new Pope is known as a “Reformer” so I don’t think we are out of the woods yet, so to speak..

The bottom line is the prophecy was wrong. He is not named Peter. So we can assume that the rest of the time line is wrong too. Sorry, but lets stop saying they are right, when clearly they are not. Now, if they end up calling him by the name listed in the Henochs then that is a different story. So be it. stop beating a dead horse.
Thats not quite fair. Should this pope really prove to be the last, then me thinks surely he will come to be associated with this name, if only for being designated as such in the Henoch, and the now well known St. Malachy prophecies. Indeed, likely hisotry will best remember him as “Petrus Romanus.” Should the Catholic Church crumble in a big way on his watch, I don’t think the skeptics will have the chance to challenge, “well, hes not referred to as Petrus Romanus!”

Whatever the case turns out to be regarding the Pope, the Henoch Prophecies are full of information that one can see has been unfolding since they were published. The information on the Russian troop movements, and naming Arkhangelsk as the place from which they will proceed, is significant enough that a formerly skeptical, retired physician/scientist – who is also very religious – has called Meier’s information “astonishing” and “amazing”.
The information about radical Islamic fundamentalists has also shown itself to be true; one should keep their eyes on Europe and what develops there.
There is a lot more that one can clearly see has been accurate in the foretelling. But the reasons for prophecies aren’t for us to be transfixed like the proverbial deer in the headlights, nor to keep score and cheer for a prophet’s accuracy. They are to warn us, the individuals who make up the collective of humanity, to correct our own personal courses in life…so as to correct the overall, dead-end direction and path that we are allowing our world to proceed on.
