Because of some recent discussions, it seems like a good idea to have a forum for people to discuss these factors, which could perhaps more correctly be called consciousness-related, rather than “spiritual”, a term that Billy Meier says we usually misapply.
We can also work towards a better understanding of the qualities, behaviors, etc., along with more information on the distinction between the two terms, as delineated in the spiritual teaching. So those people who have criticisms, suggestions, questions, answers, etc., pertaining to this topic can submit and discuss them here.
Funny; the words “spiritual conduct” made me think of that infamous in his own mind astrologer who used to attempt insults by accusing others as ‘unspiritual’ as he promised to laugh in our faces when his prediction of manifold deaths & destruction would come true in the form of an 8+ earthquake in SF & LA … and I think promised us such laughing in our faces would come by the end of september, which to my knowledge has passed

Actually this blog was somewhat inspired by recent comments from Tony, which didn’t get posted. Tony would be welcome to post his perspective here but it would truly first require that he retracts, etc., his dark, death wishing curses to ALL concerned. I know that people can’t be forced to apologize for things that they don’t wish to, voluntarily. But perhaps he would like the opportunity to take another, honest look at his own thoughts and feelings that led him to to express (take those actions).

Neutral-positiveness, is what interests me from the Spiritual Teaching. As I see it, the exposure to negative babble, is another way, to see how I can learn about being neutral-positive.
Spiritual conduct is living according to the principles of true love, kindness, freedom, equanimity, peace, fairness, etc. Spiritual understanding is the comprehension of the meaning of those principles according relative to the evolutionary level of the individual. Spiritual leadership is tricky as we are all our own leaders, but would indicate an individual who has an understanding of truth, wisdom, knowledge which is advanced above others and who freely gives of his/her knowledge and wisdom to teach, guide, counsel and aid in the further development of others. However a true spiritual leader does not regard him/herself as a leader, but simply as a part of the whole.

I think I oughta post here, since I think about this topic a fair amount. And I know I cause waves on the forum by speaking my mind even when I must be wrong. Since we lead by example, I hope to get all the B.S. outa my system before I impact others to their detriment.
To me, honesty is one most important functions of a true leader, or perhaps more aptly, a leader-to-be. Leaders are people who are open and honest enough to not bother hiding anything that may appear unpopular and thus unwise. Of course, the corollary to that they be open to the truth, whatever it might be, even when it means learning everything one thought he knew all over again. Leadership, to me, means radical honesty, most especially with oneself.
It also helps to look ahead and see where we are goin. So may people stand up and proclaim โFollow me!โ without actually having thought their next steps through. Do they just want to be important? Everyone can be important, but not everyone needs to lead other people in some direction that isnโt healthy.
Finally (for nowโฆ) leaders have to err on the conservative side. Itโs not just for themselves that they live. They live for others, too.
I am reminded of this this little story I have about a man who, over time and through much hard work, discovered the light within himself. For the longest time he followed that light and, in the course of life, people became attracted to and followed him.
When he noticed this he was striuck by a sense of compassion and wanting everyone to have the same guiding light that he did.
So he reached within himself and was able toโฆgrasp that light and hold it behind him so that others could see and follow it too.
And together they all plunged aheadโฆinto the darkness.

The problem is many people associate reincarnation, meditation and other spiritual-related stuff with New Age or Buddhism (nothing against it, there’s much of spiritual-existential wisdom in it), while the truth is these things have always been in existence universally in separation from any philosophies, as natural as breathing or dying. Regarding them as New Age’s ideas seems to discourage many of those who seek the objective, non-religiously manipulated truth. So don’t be surprised when talking about meditation people will classify you as a New Age believer or an occultist.
I took yoga classes to learn how to breath for meditation.
Another great topic, I’m glad you’ve stayed with this venue. In the past year and a half it has been difficult to seek out those who truly are striving to find their way when it concerns the spriritual teachings as many see it only as an avenue towards material gain, yet others really truly are delving into the meat of it, yet they may still sound somewhat detached from the core of it. Based on my own experiences, I can say once the Human learns many of the essential absolute truths, it may be difficult to process certain emotions that follow. This feeling of longing for change can drive one to unlimited bouts of insomnia and impatience. It’s as if one has awoken with answers never before determined or understood, only to be left with a feeling of not having the tools to complete the job, so to speak, all the while left with the feeling that if only one could institute this change in full in a short time, the world would come around. This is the most difficult portion of knowing and understanding the essential truths regarding the spiritual teachings. For what ever reason we as truth seekers have come to this knowledge, it is still a struggle to process it in a way that is meaningful to us, and this can be somewhat frustrating, if not at times infuriating because when we “awaken” to the truths we long for them to be implemented as quick as possible, although I’m not sure why all the time. I feel the spirit teachings bring an abundance of love and clarity, but for me, I struggled with how to disseminate the information, which is a tricky undertaking in itself. I was once concerned if I could actually process the truth appropriately, but have since made progress. For me, certain physical and emotional manifestations occurred which were slightly alarming, yet as time went by I came to embrace them, a truly wonderful experience. But I think it may be the “time” factor that many of us may struggle with, including myself. Patience seems to be key, of which I need to continually contemplate upon. We’re so close and I feel that many millions are with us in this truth.

MH, Thanks for the road map. Yet so simple to read for most, but pondering on the full meaning is the real challenge. Taking the steps to a full awakening would mean casting off the past and changing the future of ones self. So many claim that they would take the pill to left the veil, but never take the steps due to fear of the change in ones current view of how reality should be. You are providing a very clear road map here, but not many will be willing to awaken to the truth. things are not what think they deserve. How many could handle moving mountains of clouds or even a key on string with just a thought, or seeing a week into future of a loved one and not being able to change it for the better. Just a day or two of this knowledge would overwhelm most let alone a week a month or years of this would cripple most minds. To anyone reading this fear and disillusions of self can be beaten back if change can be truly be faced and pushed aside.

I find that the real zombies are those on anti-psychotic medications and happy pills. They show no emotion and can’t cry.
That’s how anti-psychotic medications stabilize psychotic people. They turn them into walking zombies. I once had a talkative friend who had to go on anti-psychotic medications. He’s talkativeness stopped and he told me the medications had turned him into a walking zombie. He looked that way too.

Why is there all of this angst about psychotropic meds? Even Billy wrote of their usefulness and importance for some individuals’ progress. Psychosis without them for some, including myself, is a giant hurdle to progress.
To me living dead would be that way with or without meds because it is part of them, like how they never meet the curiosity in their surroundings. Putting the blame on psychotropic meds as the cause is naive in my opinion.
There is I think too much trying to cheat into the truth here by some watching movies like the Matrix to try and cheat their way into knowledge.
The “truth” has had a rough time lately. Likewise “honesty.”
Homo sapiens today defines itself by its ability to get more crap. That is called “success.” How you get there doesn’t matter. We are led by psychopaths whose example is to lie, cajole, bully and harass until you get what you want. That’s called “our values.” When someone has something we want they are “threatening our freedoms and our way of life.”
So the first step toward freedom has to be realizing we are insane, driven by insane cultural values and the peculiar insanity of those who claim to be our leaders.
The next step is to think about and decide for ourselves who we are and how we would like to live. Then, to pursue that to whatever degree is possible.
We can choose to walk away from the insanity only when we have realized it in ourselves. (Man, that’s crazy, isn’t it?)
