Impeccable Prophetic Accuracy

As is the case with all of the prophecies and predictions from Meier, so many dramatic ones from 1958 catch the eye, like the foretelling of the two US-Iraq Gulf Wars, the rise of fundamentalist Islamist terrorism, the bio-chipping, AIDS, etc., which are already history or now upon us. At first, one might have glossed over things that would seem inconceivable to civilized people but are frequently making headlines, like the family-related murders, infanticide, patricide, etc., now ubiquitous even in so-called civilized countries:

50.) It comes about ever more frequently that mothers murder their children at birth or abandon them, while step-parents beat their children to death as well as leave them to die of thirst and starve.

51.) In the future many families will be destroyed through this, because fathers or mothers live in endless strife which often also leads to the fathers or mothers murdering all the family members.

Still, could the incomprehensible “hunting” of children described here by Meier:

Because of the constantly rising standard of living of the people in the industrialized countries, they close their eyes to misery in the Third World; indeed they see the starving children on television, whose eyes and mouths as well as wounds are covered with innumerable flies, and those who are hunted like rabbits as target practice for the murderous military, or those who will be killed to get to their organs which will be sold dearly for transplantation.

As children will be hunted and killed for the price of their organs, grown people, for money, offer themselves for their organs for transplantation, or they bequeath them as a legacy so for them nothing more is sacred, not their body, nor their blood, their organs, their consciousness or psyche, and if they could sell their spirit-form and make a profit from it, they would do that too, and people will be murdered for their organs, treacherously, just as by execution, while irresponsible doctors, in greed for profit, will intentionally cut up the bodies of the dead for the sale of their organs.

How We Corrupt Human Nature

But here is information that’s not only optimistic and uplifting but that should provoke us to seriously question and discover how we allow ourselves to go so very wrong, so against this apparent good human nature. The implications are indeed staggering.

So what happens, how does the innocent human being get twisted and turned into something capable of terrible acts, in fact even to the point of society normalizing these grotesque acts as acceptable?

As Bruce Lulla pointed out, The Goblet of the Truth has quite a bit to say about good and evil, such as this:

“Fundamentally, human beings are born with a true conscience that strives after the good. This means the human being is not born with the power to attract evil, but rather with good and positive things, which is entirely in accordance with the creational laws namely that every life form shall be born unencumbered by evil, i.e. destructive aggressiveness, i.e. Gewalt. Therefore, it is the truth that human beings are born into the world with a good and positive social behaviour and are controlled by this, which is something that happens long before they are even aware of it. This is the same thing as saying that every human being who possesses Gewalt, evil, aggression and Ausartungen of any kind is himself or herself to blame for this, because he or she learnt this entirely by himself or herself during the course of his or her childhood or adult life.

“No human being is acting with Gewalt by nature, he or she learns to be Gewalt-acting because of his or her surroundings, from parents, brothers and sisters, relatives, friends, acquaintances and other human beings. Human beings also learn to be Gewalt-acting as a result of religions and sects which teach murder and manslaughter as well as other evil Gewalt and bad things; from politicians and the military who order wars and spread death and destruction; and from the penal code according to which torture and the death penalty are imposed; also however from Gewalt-acting forms of sport, games and educational measures, etc. This means human beings learn about Gewalt from an early age, indeed not seldom they almost imbibe it with their mother’s milk, meaning that evil becomes seen as the only successful coping strategy in order to assert oneself against other human beings and the entire world around…”   (Free download here.)

It also doesn’t help that human beings have created preposterous, illogical, mind-enslaving, fear-inducing beliefs, such as that people are “born in sin” and can only be relieved of an otherwise inescapable, terrible punishment by believing in some imaginary “savior” who supposedly “died for your sins”…long before you were even born and capable of committing any.

The Spiritual Teaching

The Goblet of the Truth is one of the brilliant books on the spiritual teaching by Billy Meier. It’s much more than an antidote to the irrational, crazy-making beliefs that pollute the consciousness of human beings, evidenced by the sorry state of affairs of a world in which about 80% of the global population is religious. Draw your own conclusions.

Most importantly, draw upon the wellspring of the non-religious, belief-free spiritual teaching. Consider and implement it in your own life, from the vantage point of complete self-responsibility for everything you think, feel and do. Remove the for-and-against filters, the partisanship of political viewpoints, as you learn to see things exactly as they are. Become aware of – and learn to control – your ceaseless, often mainly unconscious, thoughts, so that the reality they inevitably create is actually one of your own choosing.
