Maher might just be one of the smartest humans on the planet, to openly state the fact regarding overpopulation on tv is either career suicide or genius, I hope for his sake the latter and others take heed.

I know that we are overpopulated, I had my first baby last year. I waited the 7 year period Billy recommends and im also under a legal marriage. Me and my husband did similar like the Plejaren in the sense that they have a waiting period where they’re apart for 2 or 3 years before getting married. I follow the recommendations as much as I can. The thing is there are people like me that follow the laws and recommendations and there are people having 8 kids because “God said we have to multiply “. If only the masses used logic maybe we would bring our population down with humane means.
One of the many tragedies of all this is, even though Mr Meier warned of overpopulation no one listened!! An all these yrs later an with all the FACTUAL EVIDENCE, A celebrity goes on record pertaining to overpopulation an has to wonder if the suicided in his career?? Are people so closed off of the world around them that they are willing to let this planet with all it’s beautiful wanders perish because they don’t care?? I never understood the brick wall method of living!! It’s so overwhelming to the few who actually care what happens to this world, when so many live in blind ignorance
Maher is good and got right the connection with Japan, GDP, and birthrate/young people focus seeing the relationship. The only thing I would add is that Android workers aren’t invented yet if you know what I mean. It was very well done especially pointing out Elam’s logic problem.

The danger here is population mismanagement by the folks responsible as we get older that will come across as spiteful and vindictive if the mismanagement is particularly bad. Mismanagement in the sense what Meier talks about with the bad outcomes for solving this population numbers crisis

True but on Erra 3 is the rule and nore than 3 children 7 years apart but Erra is NOT overpopulated as Earth is.
