I started listening to Redacted this past week to see what the channel is about. I see Clayton Morris does interview open-minded people from what I can tell. Dr. Shiva, the inventor of Email, was recently interviewed and since his YT channel is called “It’s time to get educated or be enslaved” I sent him the following:

UAP is Unidentified Arial Phenomena. Why the change from UFOs to UAPs? UFOs are unidentified flying objects while UAPs are unidentified aerial phenomena. UFOs are objects, and UAPs are phenomena.
The term UFO has indeed been used too broadly to look at some things that often were not objects but just unknown phenomena. However, phenomena are not objects. “pheno” means “shining”, “appearing, ” or seeming” and phenomena means “a fact or situation that is observed to exist or happen, especially one whose cause or explanation is in question,” “a remarkable person or thing,” “the object of a person’s perception” (as in philosophy). The focus with the word phenomena is not at a thing but to something not understood, so the focus shift is from UFO “flying things” to the “unidentified” or just “unknowns.” Of course, phenomena can be things; volcanoes are interesting phenomena.
However, the attempted acronym change was all about trying to take the focus away from any actual things to making everything associated with the topic unknown — so officials don’t have to say anything, and there’s your cop-out. Well, UAPers are welcome to their willful unknowingness. I am interested in knowing what things are, not what things are not. So I will remain looking into and identifying real or likely things, like what is shown in the picture here, which is clearly not merely a perception, but an actual object and can be identified as such. It’s the facts we need, not the “It isn’t this, that, or those. We don’t know what it is.”
Please tell us what it is, not what it isn’t. For example, for the IFO (Identified Flying Object) flying in the sky with Stealth: “It is a large object, some meters in diameter.” “It did appear to be observing the Stealth.” “It obviously was not aggressive in any way.” “It was observed by someone who took nine photos of it.” “It is identical to craft photographed by Billy Meier in the 1970s, before the advent of digital photography.” “This series of photos was taken in 1981.” “The photos have been tested by a Kodak expert and found to be genuine straight photographs.” “This disk-shaped object was flying in the same airspace as the Stealth during a 1981 Stealth test flight.” “It was observed as a physical craft and not an unknown aerial phenomenon.”
Welcome to and enjoy the real world of things, not the flimsy, unknown, cover-up world of phenomena. I don’t expect the armed forces to change their new terminology because, if it’s all just phenomena, they don’t have to DO anything, and that’s a position they are obviously happy with. What could they do anyway?
