The real solution far exceeds manmade philosophies, political machinations, hi-tech fantasies, is found in the non-religious, belief-free, Creation-energy teaching

In 2021, Henry Kissinger and Google founder Eric Schmidt were interviewed by Time magazine about a, then new, book they wrote with the dean of MIT Schwarzman College of Computing, Daniel Huttenlocher, titled The Age of AI.

One of Kissinger’s observations was:

“We live in a world which, in effect, has no philosophy; there is no dominant philosophical view. So the technologists can run wild. They can develop world-changing things, but there’s nobody there to say, ‘We’ve got to integrate this into something.’”

And Schmidt later stated:

“I think that the first thing is that this stuff is too powerful to be done by tech alone. It’s also unlikely that it will just get regulated correctly. So you have to build a philosophy. I can’t say it as well as Dr. Kissinger, but you need a philosophical framework, a set of understandings of where the limits of this technology should go. In my experience in science, the only way that happens is when you get the scientists and the policy people together in some form. This is true in biology, is true in recombinant DNA and so forth.”

Ironically, Schmidt also said:

“Everything’s getting faster. The thing we don’t want is weapons that are automatically launched, based on their own analysis of the situation.”

Recently, Kissinger wrote another article, How to avoid another world war, in which he further emphasized his increased concern about the dangers posed by autonomous weapons that could “start their own war”:

“Once the line into this realm is crossed and hi-tech becomes standard weaponry – and computers become the principal executors of strategy – the world will find itself in a condition for which as yet it has no established concept. How can leaders exercise control when computers prescribe strategic instructions on a scale and in a manner that inherently limits and threatens human input? How can civilization be preserved amid such a maelstrom of conflicting information, perceptions and destructive capabilities?

“No theory for this encroaching world yet exists, and consultative efforts on this subject have yet to evolve – perhaps because meaningful negotiations might disclose new discoveries, and that disclosure itself constitutes a risk for the future. Overcoming the disjunction between advanced technology and the concept of strategies for controlling it, or even understanding its full implications, is as important an issue today as climate change, and it requires leaders with a command of both technology and history.”

It’s interesting that when asked what he would want to be most remembered for, Kissinger said:

“That I made some contribution to the conception of peace.”

While some may not see Kissinger as fully informed on, or acknowledging the true dynamics of the Russia-Ukraine situation, and not agree with Asket’s description of him, from 1953, as an “Angel of Peace”, he eloquently conveys the dangers of AI and the lack of any unifying moral philosophies to deal with it.

Schmidt sees misinformation an intrinsically intertwined, co-developing concern:

“And the way you solve that is by essentially knowing where the information came from cryptographically and then ranking so the best information is at the top.”

Both Kissinger’s and Schmidt’s concerns are quite warranted and both should appreciate the descriptions of the developmental processes of the AI (computerized) weapons – and the projected outcomes – published by Billy Meier, in 1987 (emphasis added):

205. If the Third World War will actually happen—as calculations and observations appear to indicate to be probable now and also during the approaching few decades—then, as now, the civilian population will above all have to bear the brunt of the enormous suffering in tremendous numbers in this entire catastrophe and, last but not least, the fault of the irresponsible scientists who by cloning will create human machines for military purposes, devoid of conscience and feelings, and will create immensely deadly and all-annihilating computer-like weapons.

227. Even when the North American continent will be stricken by the most terrible catastrophe which has ever been recorded, evil military powers will wreak havoc with computerised and nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, whereby it will also happen that computerised weapons become independent and cannot be controlled any longer by human beings.

256. Destruction of war will descend on the northern countries as strong military forces will invade them from the East and will pillage and murder as well as use bombs and missiles, like hail coming down, and hitherto unknown weapons of laser- and computer-controlled types which will destroy and annihilate everything, whereby the first target will be Hungary and after that will follow Austria and northern Italy.

275. Not only nuclear, biological and chemical weapons will be used en masse, but also enormously deadly systems of computer-controlled weapons that are only in the beginning stages of development today, or will be invented and constructed during the third millennium.

As Old as the Universe Itself

While both Kissinger and Schmidt are obviously concerned, I doubt if either of them have foreseen the horrific scenarios described by Meier, or the real solution, which is as old as the universe itself.

Far exceeding any manmade philosophies, political machinations, and hi-tech fantasies, it is found in the non-religious, belief-free, Creation-energy teaching, in Billy Meier’s many books, now also available in English.

Perhaps Elon Musk would like to give some of these books to Kissinger and Schmidt, and read them himself. Certainly they could have an interesting conversation that could be published in Time, hopefully soon, because time is…running out.
