An invitation to find what you’re seeking
Dear Prof. Jason T. Wright & associates,
While this is an open letter and not a scientific paper, the information within it should serve as an invitation, provoking sufficient interest to warrant further examination, certainly before concluding that it’s… outré.
That’s not the Way It’s Supposed to Happen
Regarding your association with SETI, our team suggests that while scenarios such as contact through a form of mathematics, radio waves, cryptic signals, or rarified scientific language is fitting for a science fiction movie, we should allow the possibility that space traveling extraterrestrials from a Type III Civilization would be intelligent enough to learn, and reach out to us, in one of our own terrestrial languages, utilizing their advanced versions of language learning technologies such as we already possess.
While that’s not the way it’s supposed to happen, according to SETI’s assumptions that they would be the de facto choice for such contact, we suggest that an advanced and benevolent extraterrestrial civilization would actually be capable of also communicating in a way that was equally accessible, and understandable, to scientists and lay people alike.
Conveying the Science
A most elegant, and non-invasive, means for a Type III Civilization to effect such historical contact would be for them to convey specific scientific information in a clear and unambiguous manner – well prior to our “officially” discovering it. Once we confirmed its accuracy, through subsequent corroborating discoveries, we could go about ascertaining the reason* a far more advanced race would seek contact with a demonstrably far more primitive and warlike one.
The time between the provision and corroboration of the information would allow scientists, governments, leaders, etc., to prepare for this unprecedented development and, quite possibly, actual, subsequent direct contact.
SETI has its preconceptions, including that searching for extraterrestrial life is the means by which contact will be established. But, since the advanced race would determine the terms of contact, it could even be with a lay person, ego-deflating as that may be.
Can we really say just how this event would occur and proceed?
Actually, yes.
Beyond Theories
Skeptical? Of course, but please read on.
In 1978, a nearly 10-year-long preliminary investigation was led by a USAF Lt. Colonel, and his team of professional investigators and scientists, concerning several categories of physical and informational evidence provided to them by “Billy” Eduard Albert Meier, in Switzerland. Meier claimed that as a five-year-old boy, in 1942, long prior to SETI’s inception, he was first contacted by representatives of a human space traveling race. The contacts are claimed to continue to this day, more than 75 years later. Over the past 40 years, the varied evidence has been independently examined, analyzed and authenticated by respected scientific experts and is freely available to you for your own evaluation, testing, etc.
Regarding advance knowledge of soon-to-be scientific facts, it has been – and continues to be – provided in abundance. To date we have over 200 specific examples, the majority established as ironclad by the existence of copyrights and verifiable publication dates, all well prior to “official discovery”, in fact, often decades earlier.
No information is ever presented as theoretical and, to date, there has been no erroneous information. The only revision of estimates, etc., comes from organizations like NASA. (More articles about Apophis here.)
Credible international reporting on Mr. Meier and his photographic evidence dates back to 1964 and this USAF OSI military investigator explains why it makes the Meier case ironclad..
But how could this, arguably the most important event in human history, possibly have occurred, yet gone unnoticed by respected scientists, such as you and your associates?
SETI’s Rigorous Avoidance
The attempts to present this evidence and information to numerous scientists around the world span decades. A few courageous scientific experts risked the opprobrium of their associates – and loss of funding, tenure, reputation, etc. – and looked through the proverbial telescope.
As indicated, your own professional analyses, questions, challenges are welcome. Hopefully, they would be more credible – and scientific – than what Mr. Robert Muir received from Seth Shostak, on June 15, 2015, in response to his suggestion to investigate the Meier material:

A Piece of Pluto, Please
So, unlike defense industry aeronautical engineer, Dr. David Froning, Seth Shostak “learned nothing from it.” But Prof. Lisa Chien at NAU (Northern Arizona University) was consumed with curiosity as she perused hundreds of Meier’s clear, primarily daytime UFO photos (all taken on 35mm film, pre-computer, pre-digital era). Conversely, professor and Department Chair of the NAU Physics and Astronomy Department, Dr. Stephen Tegler, wouldn’t deign to look through the proverbial telescope.
Expressing that he had “no interest in seeing photographs; bring me a piece of a bumper from one of the things”, Dr. Tegler was nonetheless unable to produce a piece of Pluto to demonstrate the same evidence-in-hand requirements.
We do rely on various kinds of photographs of Pluto; the closest were taken 8,000 miles from it. Meier’s closest photos of the WCUFO were taken within…15’. Please see this 74-page analysis, using today’s state-of-the-art computer technology, which also includes the protocols used by Mr. Zahi, so that you can reproduce the testing.
He also discovered that putting one of Meier’s 35mm film photographs, from 1981, in Photoshop and adjusting brightness and contrast settings, revealed what has been hidden, not quite in plain sight, for 33 years. Please feel free to perform this simple experiment yourself, as many people around the world have now done.
The internet has not only “democratized” access to information but also modalities of testing that now allow a 10-year-old child to attempt to determine certain things for themselves, without relying on outside experts.
In fact, it was at about that age that Marcel Vogel synthesized the chemicals that produce bioluminescence in fireflies.
The Benefits of Skepticism
While skepticism is expected, rather than directly confront the claims and voluminous evidence anymore, the tactic has been mainly to ignore it and pretend that it’s the same as…no evidence at all. Fortunately, Prof. Scott Antes, a skeptical professor, demonstrated rare intellectual honesty and facilitated two, historic presentations at NAU.
Determined skeptics seeking to debunk Meier’s information on Jupiter, etc. – including the fact that Io is the most volcanically active body in the solar system – instead corroborated that he published it five months before the Voyager probe arrived.
As we said, this is not a scientific paper so much as an invitation, amply supported with an abundance of un-dismissible evidence. To date there are over 26,000 pages of information, five categories of still irreproducible physical evidence, 125+ eyewitnesses and five photographers other than Meier.
It is hoped that you and your associates will be curious and gracious enough to…look through the telescope and respond with your comments, questions and/or challenges. Hopefully our discussion would be more enlightening than the way the media deals with this topic, which could make it easier for astronomers to “discuss the possibility of alien life”.

Basically he says he has not looked at any of the evidence and only takes to account what other people have said about the case. Really pathetic for someone who claims to be a scientist.
And Prof. Tegler should look at analysis of the actual piece of UFO bumper provided by Billy and examined by scientist like Marcel Vogel, but no, they know better.

It really is now up to them, to any courageous, intellectually honest ones among them, to rise above the trend of OED’s (Over Educated Dummies) who pass themselves off as scientists. How can you stand some of these people like SETI?
They are so arrogant and stupid. The idea that an advanced civilization who mastered SPACETIME TRAVEL (go back and read that again) would contact us through radio signals is so… illogical.
People have too much fantasy, and I say that as a fantasy writer.
They obviously don’t want good evidence, they keep saying it looks too good, has to be fake. No all you hoaxers just produce sub par fakery, when confronted with the real deal, you can’t handle it for being to used to lights in the sky. The Plejaren posed for photos knowing exactly where Edward was pointing the camera. His pictures are sharp, clear, up close, daytime, and detailed. Plus sound recordings, plus films, plus, metal samples, plus future event predictions, that no one else has or can produce, even those who are looking through telescopes for alien life. It is funny MH, that scientists have asked the public just a week or two ago to help them out in discovering alien life. I was surprised at their request as to why are they asking the general public for help in this matter, now when they have Billy’s voluminous proofs about alien life right under their noses, and pretend to dismiss it as fake.

That was a great letter, but good luck with this one. I have in the past briefly spoken to my brother about the Meier case and he did look into it and saw that the word hoax was associated with his name and that Billy made all of his models and is tricking everyone. So that was all my brother needed to read and called it quits. He also told me to stop following it and it is nonsense. I suppose this is the thinking of many of the scientists too.
Then I have a know it all brother in law who told my in laws that I pray to ET’s and when we are in a family gathering he will ask me “So how are the ET’s doing? Have you seen them lately?” I just very straight faced say “No I have not seem them for a while. I think they are on vacation.” Some people, including scientists, are so full of themselves and arrogant to the point that it makes you feel like just punching them in face. But of course we can’t because that is not in the spiritual teachings. Darn it!!!!

I know how you feel to a certain extent. Luckily for me, my father accepts the Meier case as true and we are able to discuss it on a regular basis…however, we are known throughout our extended family & circle of friends as “nutjobs”.

I do speak with my husband and our 14 yr old daughter about Billy and the spiritual teachings, but no one else, as I live amongst religious people here in Virginia. No one to talk to unfortunately. And because I do not fear or believe in the devil or lucifer, they look at me like I am nuts, so I could never talk to them about this one armed Swiss man in Switzerland who claims he’s been in touch with an alien race since he was 5!! Hopefully some day that will change and I only hope that people will eventually see the truth and open up their minds.

Your comment made me both smile and sigh. I’m happy that you have someone close to you to actually discuss the Meier case, but, at the same time, I’m sad that your extended family thinks you’re nuts. What is it with these know-it-all’s that have no common sense? I don’t understand how anyone can say that we’ve learned nothing from the Meier case – that is complete nonsense. I’ve learned more from Billy and the P’s, have had more life questions answered than ever, and still have a lot of reading left to do. The information is so voluminous that it would take an entire lifetime to get through. These phony’s are not real leaders, they follow whoever has the best gimmick or sci-fi theory. We can only hope they will get their act together and stop worrying what other people think about them. The know-it-all’s will surely come and go, but the truth is timeless, and timeless are those who know the truth.
It’s always the problem here on Earth. Extremes. If it’s not fantastical enough, it’s not real. If it’s too simple, it’s not real. It’s crazy how much religious dogma has impacted the mass consciousness of society – even supposedly non religious folk are warped from childhood.
I feel like I witnessed a breakthrough the other day. My Sasquatch loving buddy (I had explained to him what Billy had said about Bigfoot) was having it out with my religious Creation Museum buddy and finally he said Oh Harry you don’t believe in aliens. Sheila, If Man continues to allow himself to be led astray by his religions and brings himself that far, then it will be that the evil lifeforms from the universe can again appear as angels and gods as they have done at earlier times in our ancient history. A more recent example would be the Giza intelligence that used to live under the pyramid in Egypt.
I think that’s the least of our concerns. Blowing ourselves off the face of the Earth seems to be a more real threat. And, for what it’s worth, I don’t recall any such concerns in the HP, or other prophecies, etc.

Thank you Michael for a comprehensive message to people with degrees simply “Piled higher and Deeper”. Over the past week or two, I have sent several messages to people who give talks or write articles with the generally enraging theme of “where are all the aliens?”, or “why haven’t we found them yet?” , or “have aliens ever visited Earth?”. This makes me so angry, that someone pretends to be a know-it-all without knowing that there is a library of diverse evidence that has been available for a long time. I ask your readers to stand up for the truth and reply to these Fachidioten in a polite and kind wise if they so choose.
The POSITIVE: ONE small SUCCESS! I did after many years of nudging finally get a satisfactory response! A website for a southwestern U.S. telescope had a section to ask questions, and I asked them why Billy Meier knows the inner workings of the universe and they do not. And the person responded in a way that basically said that I am exactly right, and this made my day.
The NEGATIVE: Many trolls and attackers are becoming insulting and annoying in the YouTube comments section; people such as Jo Weiss and Magic etc.. I would like to ask your readers to unite and take a little bit of time if they want to log on to youtube and just give thumbs up likes to the Billy Meier videos and downvotes to the negative comments and negative videos. This only takes a few minutes, and this does not require responding to these negative people. The reason is not that I care what the trolls say, but what a fresh person coming to view the video for the first time will perceive. For example, one of the Phil Langdon videos attempting to debunk certain evidence has a thumbs up rating of less than 50%, and this is very low and casts doubt on the video. But some Meier videos who have not been visited yet by trolls have a thumbs up rating of over 95%. People make judgments about videos based on these ratings before they even watch it, and I kindly ask people who actively use Youtube to democratically vote in support of Billy related videos and comments. Just ten or twenty upvotes would have a large effect on the ratings of the videos.
On a final note, if you see a comment on Youtube that is offensive and inappropriate in any way, “REPORT THE COMMENT” as spam or offensive. Several comments by people are very nasty and inappropriate, and if just a few of you readers report the comment as offensive, we can RID THE COMMENTS SECTION of the most negative and hateful attackers. We do not and should not have to put up with offensive and inappropriate comments.
We should unite and support and defend each other, and you can do this anonymously without responding to the attackers, just by clicking thumbs up or thumbs down. This also has the effect that if a positive comment gets the most thumbs up, it will rise to the very top of the comment section and be the first thing people see.
In the world of social media, perception begets reality.
Back to scientists, what I would like to see is a unified “theory” of the universe written in the format of a scientific paper, which can then be studied and peer reviewed by scientists, so they can view Billy’s information about outer space in a way that is familiar to them. On my Beam of Light website, more people are downloading the “Plejaren info: only outer space related info” space-related excerpts from the contact notes. Which is a good thing.

Well, he got something right.
I remember going to see the movie E.T. when I was 8 or 9 years old. From that day forward, I was forever changed. I fell in love with the little wobbly extraterrestrial. It wasn’t just the cuteness factor of the Reese’s Pieces loving visitor, it was the entire can of worms that opened up for me that day. It struck a nerve so deep that I couldn’t stop thinking about it. In fact, I dreamt about it. I became obsessed with the fact that there had to be others in the Universe and maybe they would someday come to visit us. I certainly understand the yearning and fascination with trying to find intelligent life in the Universe, but the day I found Billy was the day I had my AHA moment. I find it amazing that people who work for organizations like SETI don’t share similar feelings. How can they be aware of this case and not see the glaringly obvious truth? It baffles me to this day.

Hi Melissa, I too loved the movie but most of all my all time favorite movie was the orginal black and white 1951 movie The Day The Earth Stood Still because this movie proved to me that not all ETs are bad,ugly horrible unfriendly monsters as the SciFi channel still does these days including horror movies which I won`t and refuse to watch including Dr. Who which does have horror elements there too. I can`t understand why people are so fascinated with these awful Grays,Retillons.Tall Whites,etc. I remember reading years ago about what Semjase told Billy about the universal constant of good, bad and inbetween too as well. Perhaps mabye we should all educate this primitive world about what is out there in this huge vast universes. Maby the Ps could enlighten this world about what is out there and tell us where to look for the good ETs and stay away from the bad ETs et. We need to inform and educate the general public on TV as well as on Youtube etc. Perhaps MH could help here with some good advice from Billy and the Ps as I just did a month ago with the spiritual teching in everday life on Youtube with Billy. We need to steer the public away from those awful scary horror movies and TV series and teach this world some real scientific proof that there are good people out there in all these universes such as the DERN and DAL Universes such as Ptaah, Quetzal,Asket,Nara and so on. “I`m very very aware of their existence even if they aren`t here on Earth,I just know that they are relly there in this vast cosmic wonderland!”
