It simply leaves me no peace, what that part of the responsible earthly specialists – what they want to be, but are not – is spreading with big and important words concerning the Corona disease as important information, although they have only little knowledge and do not know the real facts of the whole thing. This, while the other part, which really tries to get the whole facts and connections and recognizes and correctly assesses them, as well as the precarious situation, does not want to be heard or its findings and insights are not taken seriously. This is not only the case in the medical, virological, epidemiological and other disease-experienced professional circles, but also in the heads of state and authorities and health organizations, etc., where the word is spoken by those who, in their ignorance and lack of knowledge, addictedly emphasize themselves. This while those who have gained good knowledge and expertise are not listened to, or they are imposed silence and forbidden to speak out their expertise.

It is simply alarming how undiscerning many terrestrial human beings are, because one of my views into the future shows more and more disaster which will be brought about in the coming times due to the unintellect and irrationality of about one quarter of the terrestrial humanity. Indeed, this quarter corresponds to a minority of the total mass of the terrestrial overpopulation, but this minority is fully prepared to act with Gewalt (“There is no English word that conveys the true meaning of the German word ‘Gewalt’. ‘Gewalt’ is the brutal execution of elemental might and force, but it is far above all might and all force. ‘Gewalt’ exists in different and relative forms, one example being a ‘gewalttätige Gesinnung’ – expression from the character, personality, thoughts, feelings and emotions that shows the inclination to act with Gewalt. When human beings possess or carry out acts of Gewalt and it is not based in logic, then this usually involves violence, brutality, degradation and is terribly destructive.“ (Meier, BEA 2010, The Goblet of Truth, page XIII, footnote), which is already proving itself in the USA and will also already soon prove itself in Europe. The rampantly spreading corona-disease-pandemic and the conspiracy theories arising from it as well as the enactment of necessary protective measures against the disease, will already, within a few days, be used as a justification for carrying out right-wing demonstrations and acts of Gewalt. Thereby right-wing extremists, ‘citizens of the Reich’ and conspiracy theorists will come together and incite the large masses of the simple-minded ones and those of low intelligence who participate in demonstrations and they will mislead them into carrying out disgraceful acts.

Billy It will probably not be possible to change this if you say that you already know this from looking into the future. But also, that part of the virologists who pretend to be well-informed but do not recognise what is really going on is no better.

Many virologists, medical professionals, epidemiologists and so forth are incapable of recognising that the rampantly spreading corona disease virus is constantly changing in its mode of action and that it is beginning to spread in a new variation to younger ages under 40 and to adolescents and children and already has various characteristics that are still absolutely unknown to all terrestrial corona researchers.

As I already told you on August 5th, the number of those infected with the rampantly spreading corona disease will exceed 27 million by the end of this month, but due to a miscalculation, this will not be officially announced until 7 days later. However, by the end of the coming month of September, the number of infected ones with Corona will increase very much further and officially already far exceed 32 million, while the number of fatalities will also increase dramatically and will also exceed the first million quickly and by far before the end of the coming month of September.

Therefore I repeat that it will now be as I said, that in a few weeks the death toll of the rampantly spreading corona disease will increase to such an extent that already in a few weeks’ time the number of victims worldwide will have reached more than one million, which will be the case by the end of the following month of September. And as I also explained earlier, the rampantly spreading corona disease is now claiming tens of thousands of infections and deaths also in all countries of Europe. However, also especially India, Brazil and all other countries of the world are increasingly affected. This is the case because now the spreading wave is rising to its full size, spread and strength worldwide, still as a 1st wave, although it is still not understood that this is not a 2nd wave, which can still be pending at a later time. But from now on the recklessness by those responsible ones of the states will take its toll who, on the one hand, have decreed a lockdown that is only halfway effective and then irresponsibly lifted it again, after a largely useless implementation, due to commercial pressure, economic desires and various other shortcomings as well as due to the populations’ quarrels.

What has happened so far all over the world regarding the rampantly spreading corona disease was only the beginning of the whole thing, because now the corona wave, which already started last year, is really rolling off and rising to its peak and will continue to roll until it has largely run its course, which, however, will not be the final end, because at least its danger will continue to exist. Even countries where it is assumed that they have survived the worst will again be affected by the rampantly spreading disease, which will again lead to many deaths. In addition, even after it has subsided, and even years and decades later, the rampantly spreading disease can continue to claim infections and fatalities, on the one hand, directly by the rampantly spreading corona disease, which can break out again and again, even in convalesced corona patients, but, on the other hand, also by other diseases, which, due to corona influences, can cause completely different corona-related diseases. All this, while otherwise in the future also women who have recovered from the rampantly spreading corona disease can suffer severe health problems during pregnancy and complications while giving birth. According to our research cognitions, under certain circumstances, also genetically inheritable damage and changes are to be feared, as well as impairments of neuralgic factors and of the consciousness, brain, organs in general and their function as well as of the coordinative abilities, that is to say, the general ability to organise various individual tasks and activities in a complex field of activity and to manage them in such a form that they sensefully and purposefully fit together, can be evaluated and applied in a coordinated form. However, it will still take a long time, indeed not only months and years, but under some circumstances it will take many decades or it will even be in the next centuries that the medical sciences of the terrestrial humanity will recognise, comprehend and understand all these facts.

Note: Source Wikipedia: Johann Künzle (* September 3, 1857 in Hinterespen near St. Gallen; † January 9, 1945 in Zizers) was a Swiss Catholic priest and publicist. Along with Sebastian Kneipp, he is probably the best-known herbal priest and a promoter of alternative medicine and herbal medicine.

Johann Künzle’s parents owned a farm, the father also worked as a trained gardener. After school in St. Gallen and the Einsiedeln monastery, Künzle studied theology and philosophy at the University of Leuven (Belgium) from 1877 and was ordained a priest at the St. Georgen seminary (St. Gallen) in 1881. Afterwards he was active as a pastor in various parishes in Eastern Switzerland, from 1896 to 1907 in Buchs in the Rhine Valley, until 1909 in Herisau and then until 1920 in Wangs near Sargans. During the Kulturkampf of 1884, Künzle was active in the fight against the abolition of Catholic schools and institutions in Switzerland and Vorarlberg. In 1913 he promoted spa tourism in Wangs (near Bad Ragaz) and founded a herb market. Since it was attributed to his efforts that in 1918, when the Spanish flu raged worldwide, not a single person in the community died, he was granted honorary citizenship. Due to his sometimes dubious medical views, e.g. regarding the cure of diabetes, he was forcibly transferred by his bishop to Zizers in Graubünden in 1920. In 1922, he passed an examination before a medical college in order to be allowed to run a ‘poison-free medicinal herb practice’. He also started a herbal trade and gave lectures on the use of herbal medicine. The Kräuterpfarrer Künzle AG was founded in 1939. In 1954 it moved to Minusio (near Locarno) and was converted into a foundation in 1980.

Künzle was the editor of popular folk calendars, the monthly magazine ‘Salvia’ (for ‘poison-free herbal medicine’), author of the ‘Großes Kräuterheilbuch’ (1944, later edited and re-published by Rudolf Fritz Weiss, among others) and many other publications. The book ‘Chrut und Uchrut’ was translated into several languages after its first publication in 1911 and is still being published today.

In Zizers he worked successfully as an entrepreneur and publicist until the end of his life – but always in the service of the Catholic Church.

As for the rampantly spreading corona disease and the behaviour of the government officials and sections of the population in this regard, an unparalleled irresponsibility of government officials and a large part of the population has been prevailing since the beginning of the rampantly spreading disease. As a result of their incapacity – which I must always point out and emphasise again – from the very beginning of the rampantly spreading disease the mighty ones of the states have not taken the necessary measures which would have had to lead to the containment and prevention of the pandemic. But this lack of intelligentum also prevents them from working out the capability of being able to look into the future and making the right decisions as well as acting rationally; consequently, in a crisis situation, as is currently the case with the rampantly spreading corona disease, they are completely incapable of working out correct modes of behaviour, prescribing them and enforcing them with the whole population and having them be carried out by the whole population.

Thus, so far, neither mandatory total blocking of activity nor other correct and functioning safety measures have been decreed for a necessary period of time, wherethrough the rampantly spreading disease could have been nipped in the bud within two to three months. Therefore, also in the coming weeks and months disastrous times will come for the entire populations of many countries, because they will be badly affected by the rampantly spreading disease again or anew. However, it is clearly recognisable that the necessary intelligentum was lacking with the majority of the responsible ones of the states and the majority of the populations. And this has remained the same since the beginning of the rampantly spreading corona disease up to the present day, and, due the far-reaching prevailing unintellect and irrationality of the majority of those responsible for the state and the majority of the populations acting likewise, it will remain so. However, in the time now coming that will bring much suffering and terribleness over terrestrial humanity and claim many fatalities. Therefore, the course of the rampantly spreading corona disease will drag out for some time and the first wave will only weaken after a longer period of time, because, surging up and down in an undulating form, it is only now running towards its climax, which, however, will only be reached after a longer succession of weeks and will claim deaths in excess of the first million. And this time the whole of Europe will be severely affected by it, because now the low intelligentum of the responsible ones of the states, who recklessly opened the lockdown instead of carrying out the necessarily far-reaching blocking – which would have led not only to the containment but also to the complete end of the rampantly spreading disease – will have dire consequences. Other false assertions that will come up again and again, that the expected 2nd wave is already raging, correspond to a low intelligentum unlike any other, which leads to false hopes and to the safety precautions against the rampantly spreading disease being even more generally neglected, wherethrough, as a result of this false assertion, the still running 1st wave can spread rapidly further and will further claim many thousands of fatalities in the coming months. The whole irrationality of the majority of the leaders of states and the populations, however, will nevertheless not lead to everyone becoming discerning, because on both sides all are equally fully irresponsible. The health of the human beings will therefore continue to be threatened by the rampantly spreading disease, whereby under certain circumstances in this regard the whole thing can drag on for the next 18 to 24 months and will continue to claim many deaths. Thereby already the danger exists that, due to disregarding all the necessary measures to end the worldwide raging, rampantly spreading disease, a global permanent pandemic can develop out of the whole and continue for years.

In Persia more than 250 medical specialists have already died as a result of the coronavirus, while the number of the ‘citizens of the Reich’ in Germany has increased enormously without the security services knowing how many there really are. But regarding the rampantly spreading corona disease it is probably senseless to talk about it any further, because intellect and rationality are in short supply for the majority of the governors and at least for 25-30 percent of the populations. The victims in this case are all those human beings who earnestly strive for the protective measures and behave correctly and responsibly, because their intelligentum is in good shape and they are therefore intelligent, whereas the intelligentum is missing from all those who stubbornly resist ordinances or deliberately undermine them and for believers of the conspiracy theorists, and consequently they are not able to think for themselves and as a result have fallen prey to low intelligentum. Low intelligentum is just that when a human being does not think and therefore does not think about a thing and so forth due to laziness of thought, belief or defiance and so forth, or if, for lack of intelligentum, he/she is not able to do so. And if a human being lacks the intelligentum – precisely that which has been called ‘intelligence’ as a result of wrong designation, unknowledge and traditional misnaming and is still used in this wrong form today – then it is hopeless, because, as a consequence, intellect and rationality cannot be used. This must probably be explained anew again and again. It is indeed necessary to explain this often and anew again and again, because the completely wrong terms, which have been used wrongly for centuries, express absolutely wrong factors, which have values other than those which would be right. This is shown in the case of the wrong term ‘intelligence’, which effectively arose with the Latins, through a banal misunderstanding, from an old Greek term, which in its ur-origin meant as much as ‘intellect-memory’. I already learnt that from your father Sfath who brought me to an ancient people in the far Orient, which in the course of time, however, dispersed and scattered in the Orient. In any case, however, I learnt that this people knew a term in their language that expressed the cognitive faculty of the human being and thus the recognition and getting to know as well as the experience and thus also intellect, rationality, knowledge and information processing, while with another people and another language and other things the same resulted, which ultimately also transferred right up to current times. Although I still know and remember the connections, I do not remember the names of the people, their language and their terms, except that out of one of the terms of this people, which was transferred into ancient Greece, a new term arose, which described the intellect, from which then also, as well as out of another term of another ancient language, the valuable German term ‘intellectum’ (Bernadette as per Billy: The “intellectum” is the entire block of the “intelligentum”, therefore it includes the intellect, rationality and knowledge and effectively sits above the intelligentum, while intelligence is the storage of knowledge.) arose. And this high-value word term ‘intellectum’ basically means the human intellectum.

Ptaah That is right, but with regard to you forgetting the names and so forth, the old oriental-eastern and later dispersed and scattered people was one that…

Billy Yes, that was it, but reviewing it again is certainly not purposive. Unfortunately, I really forgot the names, which happens again and again, because I am getting older now and … well, yes, that is natural, but that reminds me of a question I still want to ask. But regarding cognition, I would still like to say that it is an inconsistently used term, because not only the intellect and rationality as well as the knowledge and information processing of human beings are addressed with it, but also other things and systems which neither directly nor indirectly have anything to do with the intelligentum. However, it is fundamentally regrettable that from the correct term ‘intelligentum’ ultimately the wrong term ‘intelligence’ could penetrate and solidify in such a form that these days practically no longer anybody knows that ‘intelligence’ is only the intellect-memory, but does not describe the cognition and also not the intelligentum, nor the information processing of the human being. That is why the so-called IQ is erroneously and foolishly ‘measured’ with the intellectual memory, namely with the term ‘intelligence’ – which we have already spoken about before. This is because ‘intelligence’ in reality has nothing to do with the ‘intelligentum’ and thus has nothing to do with intellect, rationality, knowledge and absolutely nothing to do with the extent of knowing the general performance capacity related to the intellectum.

The intelligence quotient (IQ) is therefore not a parameter, determined by an ‘intelligence test’, to evaluate intellectual capacity in general, that is to say, it is not an intellectum existing in general or within a specific area, such as factors of the intelligentum compared to the intelligence factor, intellect-memory. On the contrary, it is correct that the effective intelligentum quotient (IQ) corresponds to a parameter determined by an intelligentum test, which serves to determine the overall cognition, that is to say, intellect, rationality, knowledge and intellectual performance capability.

The respective intelligentum-test always refers only to the particular fact, that is to say, corresponding facts that is or which are addressed and tested, thus no general, overall intelligentum-evaluation can be put together and scored by means of points. That means that if an intellectual intelligentum-IQ-performance capability is as- sessed, then it can only be tested, using a quotient, on the specific tested fact – that is to say, the facts – but this does not give any testimony with regard to a performance capability based on the intellectum. Therefore, an intelligentum quotient (IQ), a parameter determined by an intelligentum-test, in any case always corresponds only to a specific fact or a limited number of facts, but never to a comprehensive general intellectual core parameter. This clearly and unambiguously states that if an intelligentum-test yields a high score, such as 130 or 140, this score is then only related to one single fact or to a few specific facts and in this respect indicates a certain intelligentum. If additionally, however, every other intelligentum-value is deficient or inferior and therefore insufficient, then a human being is of low intelligentum regardless of his/her high IQ with regard to one or more factors, that is to say, fields of expertise.

If there is talk of low intelligentum, then this is the result of the human being not considering one fact or several facts or even many facts, which means that low intelligentum is a state of not thinking, of not considering and of not fathoming the truth. Therefore, the less the human being thinks and therethrough remains unknowing in these and those things and matters, because he/she does not bethink and not fathom them, the lower his/her intelligentum is, namely also if he/she reaches high IQ-values in one field of knowledge or several of them. Consequently, if the human being concerned is incapable of general thought processes and thought values with regard to adequate general knowledge and with regard to a healthy lifestyle and coping with life, then he/she is of low intelligentum, of bean-straw-like low intelligentum or even totally of bean-straw-like low intelligentum, regardless of having a high IQ. And in that case it makes absolutely no difference whether he/she is a simple and only averagely educated human being or whether he/she holds a doctorate or a professor title.

Ptaah We really do not need to talk about this any further, because we have already clarified this in earlier conversations.

Billy Right. But now I would like to bury this subject and talk about what Darwin announced, namely that all life originated only from one single cell or microorganism and developed into all that exists. However, Sfath taught me – namely also by letting me see and learn the whole of the truth by means of his research technique, on a world developing its first basic life – that not only one single organism of a genus or species is the origin of the enormous diversity of all life on a planet. Also on Earth, the millionfold life did not develop from one single tiny cell, but, as Sfath taught me and also proved to me, first the most diverse virion particles, as they are actually called while they are still outside a cell, came into existence in masses. Only then, as Sfath taught, when a virion particle can infect a host cell, should it be called ‘vire’ or ‘virus’. Thus said, while for the time being, I would like to mention that which you have also explained before in relation to the ‘virion’. The individual virion is nothing other than a single small and highly infectious particle which, as such, is called virus, is lifeless and therefore does not correspond to any life form; therefore it also has no metabolism. Namely, depending on the species, the virus consists of a certain nucleic acid which is surrounded by a capsid sheath, that is to say, protein sheath. A virus has no protective shell, that is to say, no cell membrane and it lacks some kind of plasma, the designation of which I do not remember.

Ptaah It is a cytoplasm that has a liquid-filled reaction space for metabolic processes inside a cell; thus viruses, as you mentioned, do not have a cell membrane as a selective entrance and exit for dissolved substances. In addition, viruses do not have ribosomes; consequently they cannot produce proteins, just as they cannot produce…

Billy Thank you, now I remember again. It is the ribosomes that the viruses lack and therefore they cannot generate proteins, because they also do not have any mitochondria, which produce the actual necessary ener- gies and powers that would be needed by the ribosomes to produce proteins. Furthermore, viruses also cannot reproduce themselves, because they can only do so if they have cells from another life form at their disposal that they can infect, which, however, they immediately do as soon as they have befallen a host cell. This is then quickly converted into a mass conversion cell and forced to start an ongoing virus multiplication process in rapid succession and inexorably produce new virus particles. Then – please correct me if I should say something wrong – human beings, animals, plants, fungi and microorganisms which consist of only one single cell, can serve as hosts for viruses. However, most viruses quite specifically infect only certain cell types. But what viruses even consist of is probably not known to the average citizens of Earth, which is why perhaps something should be said about it another time and again; namely what these various disease-causing things are all about, namely those with which it is actually the case, while about the others, which cause good things, probably nothing needs to be said.

Ptaah So, once more and repeating, the following is to be explained: viruses do not consist of one or more cells because as non-life-forms they have no cells at all. Viruses are infectious organic structures and these spread outside of cells as virions, namely by infecting cells, which, however, is only possible inside host cells that are suitable for the viruses. The main purpose of viruses is to spread, namely by infecting fresh host cells. As nucleic acids viruses are surrounded by a protein sheath, which, among other things, contains the information for controlling the metabolism of a host cell as well as the genetic material and the information for the replication of the viral nucleic acid as well as for the production of a new virion.

If cells are attacked by viruses, then they can no longer perform their normal tasks due to being the production sites of constantly newly emerging viruses, in addition to the fact that many cells are destroyed when viruses are released. In addition, symptoms of disease become apparent in the organism when the cells are infected by viruses and these begin to take effect.

Billy What I want to ask now, however, refers to that which we recently talked about, from our initial time here in the center, namely also with regard to the communication room and the machine or apparatus with regard to health care and so forth, which was planned at that time, whereby I have also forgotten the term for that. Somehow, in our kitchen in the meantime we have talked about it now and again and with that, also the term ‘rejuvenation’ has been mentioned. The reason for this were my journeys into the past and future, which often took a long time.

Exactly, that is the apparatus I mean, with which also the aging process of the body can be regulated and thus also inhibited and even prevented, and the human being can remain agile, mobile and vital into old age, because the cells and so forth maintain their developmental biological state at the time of the treatment, that is to say, the regeneration process, and consequently no aging process takes place. Therethrough – as your father Sfath explained to me – the developmental-biological state of the entire physical body and therewith also of all organs remains constant and maintained over several years and therefore no aging process takes place. Perhaps you can explain something further about this, whereby I think that, on the one hand, some explanations regarding the ageing of the human species could be useful in order to understand that, although life can be prolonged by suitable means, ultimately dying cannot be prevented. It could also be interesting – about which we have never talked openly – that you Plejaren only live to be over 1,000 years old because you use a regeneration converter, while your normal aging is limited.

The whole of our conversations came about because in past times I was travelling so often and for many years with Sfath, Asket and Semjase, as well as with Quetzal and you. In those cases, however, every now and then I had to use the regeneration converter. Therethrough I always stayed fit and even today I owe my mobility to these devices. Often our conversations went along the lines that all those earthlings, who, as wannabe-knowledgeable ones, scientifically concern themselves with the times of the past and the future and effectively fanta- sise about a horrendous idle speed (slack/nonsense) are wrong regarding time. This is due to the fact that, in the past, time has to be lived through in the duration of that time, wherethrough the human being ages by this already passed time, while in the present time, from which time one changes into the past, only short minutes or hours pass due to a time manipulation. Examples of this are, on the one hand, the incident in Hinwil when, in the presence of witnesses, such as Jacobus and my ex, I freshly shaved myself and left the house around mid- night, only to be travelling for about a week in the past with your daughter Semjase, but then, due to a time manipulation, I came home five hours after leaving the house, at 5 a.m. – whereby a one-week beard was growing on my face. Then …

Note: Wikipedia: Joseph Carey Merrick (* August 5, 1862 in Leicester; † April 11, 1890 in London) became known as the Elephant Man during the Victorian era. Merrick suffered from severe deformations of his body, which completely disfigured his shape and face. In the Victorian era he was considered the worst example of the pathological deformation of the human face. Since his childhood John Merrick was terribly disfigured. As an Elephant Man, he was paraded at fairs and tormented by his sadistic owner until finally the doctor Frederick Treves discovered him and offered to help him.

England in the late 19th century. The ‘Elephant Man’ John Merrick suffers from severe physical deformities since childhood, especially his head and upper body are severely deformed. He is exhibited by a sadistic and exploitative showman at fairs as a rare curiosity and is gawped at by the sensation-seeking public. But then the surgeon Frederick Treves becomes aware of his case and takes him with him to London to examine him there and give him a decent home in the hospital. After initial skepticism, the staff there finally agrees, when it becomes clear that the ‘Elephant Man’ has a sensitive and intelligent character. But despite the fruitful efforts of the doctor to introduce John Merrick into society, he is not safe from human cruelty.

Life of the Elephant Man

Merrick’s deformities were not recognizable at birth, but began to develop from the age of 21 months and to become more severe from the age of 5. At first he attended a normal school. When his mother Mary Jane Merrick died of pneumonia on May 19, 1873, she left Joseph and his two younger siblings William Arthur and Marion Eliza. His father changed his place of residence and soon afterwards married his landlady, who brought her own children into the marriage and had little sympathy for Joseph. She forced her husband to push Joseph out of the family environment. With the help of his uncle Charles Merrick, Joseph initially found work at Messrs. Freeman’s Cigar Manufacturers, but soon had to give it up because his right hand had become too heavy and misshapen for cigar making. After a few unprofitable attempts as a street vendor, Merrick went to fairs as a ‘monster’ with the participation of Tom Norman.

In November 1886 Joseph Merrick was in London, where he caught the attention of the surgeon Frederick Treves, who examined him and wrote a report (using the name ‘John Merrick’ for Merrick), which was later published in the British Medical Journal.

As the expositions were repeatedly banned by the authorities, Merrick travelled to Belgium with his manager, from where he returned of his own accord in December 1886. On arrival in London he was robbed and robbed of his savings of 50 pounds (equivalent to the purchasing power of about 6000 € in 2007). The only salvation in this desperate situation was a business card from Treves, whom he sought help from. Treves granted him admission to London Hospital. Merrick’s stay was later financed by the Joseph Merrick Fund, which was provided by donations from readers of the London Times.

Treves describes Merrick as an intelligent, albeit childishly naive person with a pleasant character. His speech, however, was so impaired by his deformity that few people who had regular contact with him were able to understand him.

Merrick died unexpectedly on April 11, 1890, in good physical condition in the morning and found dead on his bed in the afternoon. It is assumed that he suffered a stroke or a mild heart attack that brought him down. Death was then caused by suffocation.

Joseph Merrick could only sleep squatting due to kyphoscoliosis (hunchback and lateral spinal curvature). On the day of his death, however, Joseph Merrick was found lying on his back in his bed, which he had normally always avoided. His deformity otherwise meant that there was a danger that his rather heavy head would sink backwards into the sleeping pad, thereby overstretching the windpipe and pulling the trigger. And exactly this was probably the cause of his death – whether intentionally or unintentionally caused, there is no answer.

Occasionally the assumption was expressed that Merrick was Jack the Ripper. However, this assumption is completely unfounded: Merrick suffered from severe movement restrictions due to his deformities, and he could not hold an object in his right hand. Reasons for the deformation

Merrick suffered from a genetic disorder that not only caused enormous changes in the skin, but also buoyed up the bones. Thus, at a height of 157 cm, the head (circumference 91 cm), arms and legs were oversized, only the left hand was not affected by the disease.

During Merrick’s lifetime, doctors assumed that he suffered from elephantiasis. In 1971 Ashley Montagu assumed that it might have been the hereditary disease neurofibromatosis (Recklinghausen disease). In 1979 Michael Cohen discovered the rare Proteus Syndrome, which was identified as the cause of Merrick’s deformities in 1986. In contrast to Recklinghausen’s disease, Proteus syndrome does not affect nerve cells but tissue cells. A DNA analysis of Merrick’s bones and hair in July 2003 confirmed that he did indeed suffer from Proteus Syndrome. However, additional evidence of Recklinghausen disease was also found.

Some experts still doubt the previous findings on the causes of Joseph Merrick’s disease, especially with regard to the thesis that it is Proteus Syndrome. Michael Simpson, geneticist at Guy’s Hospital in London, is currently (2013) preparing to study Joseph Merrick’s genome and is certain that at least one major cause of the physical deformities is due to a single, non-inherited mutation. The current goal of his preparations is to study the AKT1 gene on chromosome 14. This gene regulates growth in healthy people and is involved in apoptosis, i.e. programmed cell death. If this gene does not function or does not function properly, this function is no longer performed and the observed tissue growths occur. According to Michael Simpson, it should now be technically possible to provide genetic proof of the Proteus Syndrome thesis.

Until now, the problem has been that valuable tissue samples were lost during the Second World War, and since the death of Joseph Merrick in 1890, the skeleton has simply been subjected too often and too intensively to the most diverse cleaning processes. Simpson suspects that Joseph Merrick is one of the rare individual cases of a disease. Simpson has been able to identify 20 of such individual cases in the past three years. All of these 20 cases were point mutations.

A certain Dr. Jari Louhelainen as well as a David Miller, who are supposed to be scientists, are supposed to have examined a scarf that is said to have belonged to one of the victims, who is said to have been murdered by Jack the Ripper in 1888. At least that is how it is written in the research magazine ‘Journal of Forensic Sciences’. The two researchers claim this because they attribute the DNA trace to an immigrant from Poland, namely a hair- dresser, named Aaron Kosminski, who lived in London at the time. Approximately 130 years ago he was already treated as one of the main suspects by Scotland Yard. Even hobby detectives have had this suspicion for a long time, but until today effectively nobody has ever been able to prove halfway or completely that he or any of the other again and again new suspects was actually the Ripper; consequently, all the crimes they were accused of could never be proven and also no real culprit could ever be found.

In the world history since 1888, there have repeatedly been new investigations, that is to say, fantasy and illusory investigations, and thus many theories about who really committed the murders and who Jack the Ripper really was. For example, in the 1940s the last one of the suspects died while now, on the other hand, the newest suspect had to be Aaron Kosminski, who was said to have been Jack the Ripper and to have been crazy in his consciousness, which is why he was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in 1890 and died there 29 years later, in 1919.
